Sunny Posted January 7, 2010 Report Posted January 7, 2010 Haha p'Noiki, who the heck stole our Spicy theme in name LOL that's funny! But yea, I got to be prepared so I'm going to start the new Millennium Year with a new channel, in case, at least if I ever get deleted I have another channel that I can fall onto without much loose of feelings (I'll be pretty sad because I've got over 8000 videos and over 60 completed lakorns on my channel) But nevertheless, things must go on At least I wouldn't loose what I've got in the new channel (unless someone flag me again T_T I'll stop with Youtube) lol. noiki Posted January 7, 2010 Author Report Posted January 7, 2010 yeah that's just mean to be doing that to ppl who don't got bad stuff on their channel. waste of uploading for us too Quote
Sunny Posted January 7, 2010 Report Posted January 7, 2010 It would be awesome if my new channel goes well and I still have SpicyIII, I don't mind having two channels, one active and one just there to be proud of lol. Quote

My experience is that if the "in processing" lasts for more than 1 hour, means sth wrong and you need to delete it and try upload again. Try reboot your PC, sometimes it helps. Also try upload some small files for "diagnostic". (I keep a small piece of such "test video" in my PC that I can test the accessibility of youtube any time. Once the file is uploaded and correctly processed, you can just delete it from your account.) Sometimes youtube just sucks for several hours or days for you... Quote
noiki Posted January 11, 2010 Author Report Posted January 11, 2010 i've resorted to setting my vids to private when i upload them, then leave them for a few hours after it finishes uploading, check on it, if it's no prob after i try watching it a few times then i reset it to public. it's kinda annoying but at least it's working tho Quote
Sunny Posted January 11, 2010 Report Posted January 11, 2010 Oh no it's starting to happen to me now too, ek. Some works, some don't. Quote
aikoden Posted January 11, 2010 Report Posted January 11, 2010 i dont think its because of my laptop.. it's brand new.. >_<... haha.. i dont plan to upload anything atm.. since im busy with school now.. hehe.. Quote
noiki Posted January 12, 2010 Author Report Posted January 12, 2010 Oh no it's starting to happen to me now too, ek. Some works, some don't. yeah i think you're gonna have to do what i do, and set it to private then come back to change it later if it's okay. Quote

Sunny Posted January 12, 2010 Report Posted January 12, 2010 youtube is so bias LOL give new channel people headache while giving the older channel special treatments I hope their maintenance fixes the problem, I wonder what time is 7:00 pm PDT my time lol Quote
snow_scorpio Posted January 12, 2010 Report Posted January 12, 2010 I wonder what time is 7:00 pm PDT my time lol "PDT time - Pacific Daylight Time (UTC-07:00)" I think that is the current time used for California and other west coast of US & Canada area. Quote
tiki_sg Posted January 13, 2010 Report Posted January 13, 2010 Youtube is just having its tantrum fits (or should I say PMS) from time to time. I also set my uploads to "Private Viewing" mode until I have done my test-drive. Quote
Sunny Posted January 13, 2010 Report Posted January 13, 2010 I think their maintenance fixed the problem because I can upload fine now *whew* Quote
snow_scorpio Posted January 14, 2010 Report Posted January 14, 2010 I think their maintenance fixed the problem because I can upload fine now *whew* I don't think they have got a "final solution" for this problem. Last night it came back again to haunt me. A file uploading just stopped with error at 35% sth (around 100MB). Now I also use the "technique" you guys mentioned beyond, to put the video to "private" and set to "public" till everything looks fine. Quote
noiki Posted January 14, 2010 Author Report Posted January 14, 2010 oh dear it's a horrible curse now Quote
Sunny Posted January 14, 2010 Report Posted January 14, 2010 >_< I'm fine at the moment and I hope it doesn't happen  Quote
snow_scorpio Posted March 13, 2010 Report Posted March 13, 2010 Got this urgent issue about youtube: Seems to be starting from today (or yesterday), all videos cannot be downloaded via the KeepVid website or the RealPlayer one-key download function. The only videos you can download are the ones that you uploaded... Anyone else met this problem? Is it due to some policy change in youtube? Quote
Sunny Posted March 13, 2010 Report Posted March 13, 2010 Recently I haven't tried to DL any videos so I do not know >( But sad if we can not dl because sometimes some videos are GOOD Quote
