  1. Ok so its the same 10k is for cash and what is the limit for goods? Is it also 1K as here? That's why when Ash said 10K I was like wow that's a lot even though i thought it was perhaps meant for cash but no one actually confirmed after my post so I just assume it was 10K for goods.

  2. 10K? Are you sure? That's so nice of them! Are you not mistaken with cash maybe? Because in Australia its $10,000 cash if you bring in more than that you will have to declare it as they want to make sure its not illegal money. But goods over $1,000 declare to pay duty tax.

  3. lol the thai import tax thing is weird. i dont think they have such a thing in the usa? like if you already purchased an item from oversea, as long as it fits in your luggage, theres no additional tax. thai tax is weird/confusing lol

min, why dont u just come out to clarify LOL dont act innocent by deleting your ig picture lol

I think you would have import tax for every country. I dunno about the USA but it'll be weird if the States don't have it but other countries have it lol I'm sure the States have it. True if it fits but if it fits however cost $5,000USD I would assume you will have to declare it and pay customs duty or tariff on it. However there are some that is exempt from taxes but you will have to read or know what it is as some countries have trade agreements etc. But with luxury goods I doubt there is a trade agreement on that with any countries lol.

  4. I think all mor Kate's bags are real, from her interviews and shows there's no way she is dare enough to show all fakes lol but she is a good investor and business woman. The really rich one I know that isn't shy from showing all their Hermes bags would have to be Hi magazine owners, I follow them and apart from their bags and fashion they are really cute family too lol I dunno why haha

  5. of course mor Kate will have many bags, the customers that comes into her door already pay for one bag! Honestly you plan to go do your nose but you end up coming out with your eyes, nose, chin, cheekbones, botox, fillers, fat removal lol those girls are really good in getting you to do more ps than needed.

  6. oh you just got a random bag check, they werent trying to tax you. Thats just for security purposes

True but if they find stuff that looked out of the ordinary like lots of bags or lots of gifts, they can get you to open the bags and then things can go from there lol.

  7. I dunno? lol maybe because I was Thai and they don't know if I was there visiting or living I guess, the people who scan doesn't look at the passport though. But i came out as they didn't find anything suspicious, seriously they were located right before the exit as if they are trying to catch those who really bring in expensive stuff haha

  8. Same here in Australia, its $1,000AUD, when I arrived in Thailand last year they picked me to go scan my luggage and I'm like, why me? In my head. Although I did have a lot of gift items in there already from Korea & Singapore but don't think it was over 80,000 baht lol.

  9. I don't understand this whole tax thing they're talking about, can someone explain it to me.

I don't know that deep about Thailand import tax or duty but if the value of the goods you are importing is more than 80,000 baht you will need to pay custom duty and must declare it. Unless you want to risk after they scan your bags and than they escort you to the customs office lol.

    From Bangkok Post:

All personal goods including new clothes, shoes and bags in non-commercial form exceeding the THB80,000 limit must be declared to customs officials and the duty paid before the baggage enters the X-ray machine. Any undeclared items will be seized, and owners may have to pay up to four times the value of the items plus duty. Expensive new watches or bags worth more than THB80,000 will be liable to duty even if they are being worn.

  10. I remember when Aum first bought the Hermes Himalayan and posted a pic on her IG, everyone was so pissed off at her hahaha they were angry she got a bag that is millions of bahts while there was starving people in the country or something, it was a laugh because I think Aum was the first Thai celeb to ever get a Himalayan before suddenly I see other Thai celebs follow suit. Now it doesn't matter lol. Its a good looking bag but the style isn't for us young people. I think Min only purchase that one white bag and no other, probably just little items from Hermes.

  11. The people are just jealous they will never get to have even one tiny box of that orange brand. Honestly if this kind of attitude and mindset will hinder her to become top actress is nonsense hahahaha, so many top actress probably have done the same or even worst than Min in dodging tax. I heard though that the white Hermes that Min bought is going to cost her like at least a million baht in taxes or something.

  12. The thing Min did wrong was she is a celeb, she is well known so trouble can arise easily. I'm sure celebs go overseas and buy lots of those orange boxes and coming home and dodging taxes too but the thing they didn't do is take photos to post on IG lol. Come on, so many many hi-so go overseas and carry home 10-20 boxes of Hermes and taking photos on IG and no one ain't reporting, its because they ain't famous. Min's getting backlash but I don't think she should take it to heart, not like she killed someone, her corruption is so so so tiny compare to others that we don't know of. If it get out of hand, the best thing she could do to at least try to solve this is, take a photo of her tax payment recipe and post in IG hahaha. I read the hi-so usually call the people who handle these payments before hand and give them under the table by not paying millions of bahts on taxes.
