  1. Hugo definately cannot be a king his mother is the royal not father. I think gis gteat great grand father can be a king but i dun think his grandfather can because his other is foreigner.

After i read about this royal thing i feel pity to the royal start Rama 7 because that time the power change from king to the government. A lot of royal got jailed. I think they choose Rama 8 also because he easy to control since he still young just 8 yrs old. At first they eant to home school him but luckily his mother so clever send him to study overbroad. Got one time when he at Thailand and his mother sick he want to send his mother to hospital also have no transpprt brcase his car used by some officer. After he settle the issue between Thai and chinese comunity and get the people heart, and i think because of that he got kill. I think it involve politician and government.

Oh my mistake I keep thinking that his mother is foreigner because she looks so foreign, she got her strong English mother's blood.

  2. Its not only about her similarity in appearance but she pretty much inherited his everything, some people even said its ashamed she was born a female... but people also say being born a female is what kept her safe.

But anyways this weekend Thailand had a great event, its as if everyone all willingly meet to mourn and cry at once lol. Its very special and amazing to see because no other country has done something like this for their royal. But, I hope Thailand moves on soon because I do feel a little bit sorry for those that had to close down business or slow it down, you know when one passes, life should go on, not stop. I just wish them all the best and to move forward.

  3. The eldest princess was born overseas and married a foreigner and lived there for over 20 years, plus she gave up her title so I think its no surprise she may seem like the most down to earth and connected to the public more because she's not really that high up in terms of status like the rest of her siblings. Though people still give her very high respect. Plus she does many public relation campaigns and entertainment stuff so she's mostly with normal people more. Although I think the second daughter is very down to earth as well because I heard many stories where she would go to places around the city on her own when she has no official duty, sometimes with only a few guards on a personal trip down to eat street food or go shopping and she kindly greet those that remember her. The second daughter is the most alike her father as well.

Anyways even though Rama 9th is still connected closely to the line of being King but it is still considered far from reach if the uncles and brother and all had held onto it longer and had family etc it would push Rama 9th down even further away from the crown.

  4. Back in those days its OK to marry relations and have many wives that are siblings because at least they are at the same status or not just a commoner. Keep it all in the family lol.

There are many people in the entertainment industry that are descendant of royalty. Take Cherry K for example, she's actually a Princess of Nan because her mother is a Princess, her great-great grandparents are Kings. Imagine if her Kingdom still existed and the rule didn't change to have only one dynasty in Siam, Cherry would be Princess haha.

  5. Is Nook Suthida related to the royal family bc I think her last name is Na Ayudhya?

She's just a descendant of one. Very very far away from being royalty.

I heard that his mother didn't approve of his second wife (maybe bitter that his first marriage with her own niece didn't work) and both King & Queen didn't approve of his third wife (due to her history) but had to give in because the Prince wants to marry them lol.

  6. Rama the 8th didn't get a chance to rule, he was so young, he died when he was 20 so we can't say if he was a great King or not because he didn't get a chance to do much for the nation before he died.

Because I watch Thai news with my parents, every Saturday after the news there will always be a special 10 minutes episode to talk about the many great things that the King did for the nation and the follow up of that outcome even though its been many years. I'm just proud I was born long enough to witness the many things. I don't think there will ever be a King like him again. Not in my lifetime I don't think I'll witness another great King.

  7. Its kind of sad in a way that the Thai royals are so protected because we don't have much personal interviews of them. Only recently that his children are giving interviews and go on shows but before when the King and Queen was still young and able, they should of done few more interviews and up close and personal stuff like the BBC for Thailand people can watch and smile forever about it. Now its too late, we have only pictures, even so those pictures can say a thousand words and bring tears. I still do prefer motion picture as well.

  8. Hey question mayb I mis heard or understood it as my parents and aunt were discussing about the King in our language and I understand ok to it but one of them mayb my mom? Said that the King and his bro fought over the throne and the king killed him and that's how he got the throne? Is that true? cus from what I'm reading what y'all post it's like not like that

It is never 100% solved because someone is hiding the truth for somebody. I've heard many stories as well, that Rama 9th did it... but to think he did it is 50/50 because all the things that Rama 9th has done for the country in the past 70 years are all good things, not like he killed his brother so he can live luxury life in a big palace and get called a King, he isn't the type to be living it all while his country is straving. I'm sure he didn't plan to kill his brother so that he, can be going down rural roads, sweating and meeting poor people of his nations, all the stuff he's done, no King as ever done, respect, loyal and love is earned whilst alive and he proved that. Many are saying, perhaps he did all those good stuff to repay his sins for killing his brother. But to this day, his actions for the country just say otherwise.

I did heard that there were people and family of those people were executed because of Rama 8th death, found them to be suspicious and responsible, however its never really 100% clear that its them because most of the puzzle still remain missing. The case ended really fast.

Regardless, the documentary I love the most from them was the BBC interview.

  9. I've heard that the royal family still keep in touch with them, like they only come to Thailand if the event is very personal, such as in the past to funerals. I'm not sure about this time, it seems like they are not allowed in from their letters, maybe some complications. I think being exile doesn't mean cut blood and ties.

  10. Well you know, we've seen many dramas, if they are not on the succession line but still in the country living well and all, what if something happens... someone plot stuff etc by the end of they day they are still sons of the CP, grandson of the King, they would still have rights if someone powerful or whatever happens that is possible. So CP exile them to keep them afar as much as possible is safer.

But if you think from another perspective, maybe CP is trying to save them? Because something can come up, etc to get rid of them etc, so exile was best option.

Don't forget in the olden days, these things can passed onto the next and next and if you're lucky or meant to be, even though you were not born close to be a King, you can end up being a King, just like Rama 9th. Rama 9th was no where near being born a King at all. If Rama the 6th had a son, the line would of gone to a different direction, Rama 7th was also far away from being King but landed himself King because all his other brothers that was in line to the throne before him died one after another and if it wasn't for Rama the 7th abdication it might never have gone to Rama 8th and if Rama 8th didn't die so young, if he had children, Rama 9th that we know may not exist.

  11. Because those sons might become future King(s) so its best to get rid of them plus a King whose mother commited adultery isn't right (or done illegal stuff, depending on which story is true lol or maybe she's done nothing at all), also CP at that time didn't want any of his sons to have a chance in line just in case something happens you know what I mean?

I saw that pic at the airport since Thursday, the day the King passed, didn't really surprise me..

  12. I think she is allowed to talk to them, I don't think she's forbidden.

Also noticed that one of the greatest Kings Thailand has had all died in October? Which includes Rama 4th & Rama 5th and now Rama 9th.

Well I'm glad to hear that he wants to raise his sons as normal as possible because that can contribute to their future if they become King. Rama 9th had a very normal up-bringing by his mother, very down to earth and raised him very well and had time to teach him and be with him. I'm just sad and regretful for the King and Queen that they didn't get a chance to raise their children normally like how they were raised because it contributed to how he turn out. The King and Queen were too busy doing things for the country. I guess like that saying, can't have everything.

  13. I doubt it the sons of the his second wife will be at the wedding. They are banned and barred from inheriting the throne. But not by King Bhumibol but by the Crown Prince. I guess it is embarrassing to have the futural King and his mother known as Adultress in the whole kingdom.

I really think Prince Dipangkorn is the heir presumptive after the Crown Prince since the King elevated his mother's titles until she was stripped off it. Even though she go by "Thanpuying" now

His sons actually came to their great grandmother's funeral many years back, which was the Princess Mother (King Rama 9th mother) that passed away and also the Princess sister (King's older sister) I remember all his four sons came to pay respect. I'm not sure if they will be coming to pay respect to the King, I don't see any reason why they wouldn't be and why they can't unless the new King have sent out an order for them to not come.

The whole issue of the second wife I've heard few different stories, they were framed by CP is one and two, she had an affair is another and thirdly she took blame for the CP for something he did illegally and had to be exile due to it.

I always wondered, Princess Soamsawali and the Crown Prince were first cousins right? I'm sure they just got married for royal blood purposes and not blood, but I'm curious on how that all went about and I know there was some drama when it ended too so I wonder what happened

    Oops i meant love lol

They were married because the Queen thought they were suitable due to status. Princess Soamsawali had a Princess as a mother and Prince as her grandfather (who was the Queen's father) so her root was suitable to be marrying a Crown Prince.

That video is missing his latest son that was born in Germany recently last year lol.

  14. Prince Dipangkorn is the heir presumptive after the Crown Prince unless the Crown Prince who is now King (Rama 10th) decides to change that. Because Prince Dipangkorn's mother is in exile, his line to the throne is uncertain. But right now Rama 10th has a new son with the former Thai Airways hostess that lives in Germany. However unless he gives them titles and marry the new girlfriend the new family wouldn't have rights to the throne yet. If he doesn't re-marry or give title to his new son or family. Prince Dipangkorn should be the next King of Thailand, (Rama 11th) but I'm really doubting this as well because its complicated when the next King's mother is in exile lol.

If Prince Dipangkorn doesn't get to become Rama 11th, and Rama 10th did not name anyone after him before he dies it will automatically fall to his first daughter, Princess Bajrakitiyabha whom he had with his first wife which was his cousin that he married. She may be and can become Rama 11th too since her title and line is certain and her mother is not in exile. Which will be something very new because Thailand has never had a Queen in her own right before.

Lets pretend and say succession line doesn't have to go to a male but to any first born child. And if that first born can marry anyone without losing their title, the new monarch would have been Princess Ubolratana and she would have become Queen, but the complicated thing is she's divorced lol. But lets pretend that it did work and her two daughters would have the rights to become the next Queen as well lol. But I can see why she lost her title because its like the Thai royals in the future will start to have less and less Thai blood in them haha.

PS, just to add an interesting note. If Crown Prince passed away during his father's era, the next successor would be Princess Sirindhorn (the King's third daughter and people's fav), automatically bypassing the Crown's Prince's children. But that didn't happen so now Princess Sirindhorn is currently 4th in the line of succession after Rama 10th's second daughter.

  15. The Crown Prince was so spoiled when he was young, things just went wrong from there. Even the King and Queen regretted it but there was nothing they can do as they cannot change him. I'm sure that the King is disappointed in the Crown Prince but because there has never been a Queen regent in Thailand before so the King just follow suit and named the Crown Prince as the next successor and there is nothing anyone can do about it. Even though all the people want his second daughter to be Queen more than anyone else. We just all have to accept it. He will only be King for 30 years max or less because he's already in his 60s.

I've heard about his other sons in the States that they are really successful in life and that is great to hear. It means their mother raised them well. The son that he had with his third wife. The Queen once told him to raise him well and not to spoil them like how they did with the Crown Prince lol. I believe that the Queen and King are good people but somewhere along the way maybe they were too busy doing things for the country that other people raise their son for them and their son just end up being too spoiled. Also the fact that he was the only son can possibly mean that the parents also gave him the world!

  16. There are many 'mor doo' that predicted this 10th Monarch of Thailand will bring much modernisation and changes to Thailand in a way that will move Thailand further into the future. It is said that the 10th King will bring in more foreign methods etc. But I dunno apart from that there is going to be both good and bad that come out of having a new monarch.

The many 'mor doo' also say that Thailand will get to live through to twentieth monarch. Not sure if that means after the twentieth Thailand will have anymore or its going to be a new dynasty or monarchy abolished. I wonder if I will live to see that lol.
