Seems youtube upload got problem again... Last night I left it there for the rest 2 parts of Hua Jai Ruk Karm Pope ep 2 to be uploaded, but the last part upload failed. so I tried it again this morning, it failed after about 1 hr! :( next I just started upload and came to office, on the bus I checked my youtube acct via mobile phone, and found it failed AGAIN Really don't wanna give up since so many ppl asking for it... anyone got the same problem?

I thought such things only happened in China websites... I uploaded the promotion event news about "Chua Fah Din Salai" to my tudou (the Chinese version of youtube) account 3 times, all failed. so I had to upload it to some other websites for some friends from China to view it. Later on I figured out it might be due to the nude scene in the movie's teaser that shown during the event. God knows the whole news clip is about 60 sec long and only one shot of that scene, less than 1 sec! you have to admire those censorship guys...

can you check their detailed reasons for "flagging"? or youtube just doesn't care about the reasons...

Yup. previously they actually allowed up to 10:59. Now it seems they allow sth like 14:59.

BTW for the flv converting, I'm using the RealConverter comes free with RealPlayer. Quite light, and convert to most common formats.

Don't know whether this will help to solve you guys' problems. I recently managed to record the Ch3 official online TV website www.my3space.com. The video player my3space uses is a flash one, and I use Orbit downloader to capture the video while watching it. You can just press the "stop" button in the Orbit download window to stop recording and save the file to a .flv one. recorded quality is quite nice.

I got some "findings" about youtube recently, think they changed some uploading process. Just share here to save your troubles if you have the same problem. 1. Now when you do webpage uploading, there will be a "filmstrip" display of your video, together with the remaining time. After the "remaining time" turns "0", the "filmstrip" will continue to roll on for a while, and DO NOT close your browser or go to other page from it, otherwise the whole uploading will fail. 2. After "uploaded", there will be two bars appeared on top of the filmstrip, wait till BOTH of them to turn green. If you close your browser or go to some other webpage from it before the "green light", cross your fingers that the background processing will be successful. 3. After "100% processed" shows the green light, there will be "auto-suggestion" for the tags, even if you have already filled in the "tags"! There will be a small sun-shape logo beside the "tags" window which keeps rotating. Wait till it stops and dissappears, or your pre-set tags will be lost and some "auto-suggested" tags will be your video's tags. (This is very annoying cuz this new trick from youtube is hard to detect, so that I got some of my videos wrongly-tagged yet only discovered days later by friends.

You guys can try a software called "Camtasia". It will basically record everything shown on your screen within a range you selected. And the sound will be from microphone direct recording. So you need a high-speed PC, a quiet room to do the recording. I did it for a Noom's show before since it is not recordable by any other means. There are "hacked" versions online of this SW. The version I got has a problem though, that if the recording time too long (more then 30 min for a 400x300 range), the rest part will get video only yet the audio turns into noise. I guess it's due to the cache not enough. But for a several min news clip this should be good enough.

Yahhh Ch7 is another problem... I can only occasionally view it live from some website, most of the time cannot connect.. Seems Ch7 is very stinky in "free live TV" stuff. for the rest of the public TV like Ch3, Ch5, Ch9 and Ch11, another faster but a bit low quality way is via truelife website. It's not as crowded as some other websites, guess because most ppl in Thailand don't use this one.

hmmm now I can only watch Ch 3 live from their my3space website, that one still stable.

OK I also got a problem recently in viewing Thai TV websites. don't wanna open a new thread about that... Basically there are some websites that allow you to view (and also you can download, with some tools) all recorded videos from Ch3, 5 & 9, I mean, you can get exactly what was aired then, it's just like a "replay", just in a low quality. So you just need to select the date, time slot and channel you want to watch. I heard that actually all these kinds of websites are all from one single source which is ThaiFreeTV.com. But recently (I tested this week) it seems that I cannot get to the server of the player, so after chosen the time slot, it will try the connection and finally show nothing. Anyone else has the same problem? Any other way to view those recorded videos? (I'm looking for a charity show on Ch3 last Sunday night, so dootv doesn't help...)
