i'm not good with computers either.
well is there anything on the computer you want? files, videos? anything? if so you need to save all those into cd or whatever u use to save stuff on lol. Then you just pop in ur restore cds and it usually runs automatically by itself. There's two choices, pick the one that brings you to factory settings. It's worked for me before, so it should work for you. But it's a long process, better to have it running overnight. you just have to keep an eye on it for 15 minutes or so? cause it keeps asking you if you're sure while the restore process can take umm not sure anymore, but it's long, could be an hour? I dont rmemeber

it's not hard to restore, the hard part is backing up all ur files cause BEFORE you restore, you lose everything, it restores your computer back to exactly how it was when you bought it
-
oh so I'm right, you dont have the software for it. You know, if you reboot the computer, meaning, just install ur restore cds, everything should work fine, whether or not you have the software for the media stuff. I never have to use mine, restore cds usually does the work
-
the scroll thing can be fixed on the control panel too, under printer and other hardware., try changing the settings in either keyboard or mouse
-
whose instructions did you use? mine or Sunny's?
I've got a fn key on my keyboard between the ctrl and alt button. It actually tells you the audio doesnt work? I had that problem once and apparently they installed a wrong drive, so they had to install software for it.
-
Every computer is different, there should be somewhere in the control panel you can do that, but on my computer, I just press the 'fn' key along with f7 key and it brightens the computer for me f6 darkens it
-
go to ur control panel then click on "appearance and themes" then click on "display" then click on the "settings" tab from there you just change ur screen resolution and if you play around a bit with the resolution it showed alter the size. I have mine set really small, that's why sometimes I cant read unless I copy and paste it onto word
-
yeah the problem is fixed now, it was 30 gbs from all these months of burning so I deleted all those files. It shouldnt do that, doenst seem reasonable, but I guess I cant change the settings on that program, so now I manually delete the files.
Thanks again nalika

thanks everyone.
Nalika , I tried what you suggested up there when I had the problem, and it didnt fix much. What happened was, I was using a program to burn my discs, and every time I copied a disc, it automatically makes a backup onto c drive. Itwas taking up 30gbs on my hard drive lol.

oh lol. No one is messing with the board, the admin is just making some changes, servers and stuff like that, things too hard for me to explain
-
I always come up first as well, but dont know why I'm a day behind and right at the bottom too
-
it's weird for me too, like check the onlist list, I always come up last
-
yup yup, I dont get how I delete so many things and it's still giving me that message. I think something serious has happened to this computer
-
no it does depend on disc space, cause when you make copies, ur computer makes a temporary file, or something like that. But it's not normal to free so much space, but it still be full like this
-
no just copy onto another disc, even if i do, there should be enough space.
-
yeah that happens to me too, I just delete some files and I'm good, but it seems like every time I turn to burn a new disc it tells me I have to free up more space, even though 20 minutes earlier I deleted the required amount already
-
i'm trying to burn myself another copy of some of my discs, and it keeps giving me that message
-
basically I should have 30gbs of free space, cause I think my computer has 82at full capacity
-
I dont know it happened to me before and I just delete some stuff and I'm fine, but I've deleted so many files every time it asks me to, so now I'm down from like 55gbs in the videos file to 30 but it's still giving me the same message unless I delete more as they ask I'm starting to wonder what if I start addding files to the computer? will it tell me it's full even though i should have some free space
-
ok I'm trying to burn some discs, and my computer keeps telling me my computer doesnt have enough space, so I go and delete a whole file of lakorn, which is 3gbs already, and I'm able to burn one disc, then I go to the next one, and it tells me again that I dont have enough space even though I deleted a whole folder. So far I've deleted over 20gbs, but it seems like my hard drive is full when I check the properties in the hard drive disc. What's wrong? Do I have a virus or something?
-
not necessary if I have you around na nong Sunny ja
-
okiie dookie, let me learn to do that first
-
We should be paying though, we just havent gotten around to paying it
-
none of the admins are paying for it, not even Sunny
