lol somewhere.,....but you know what's great about this version of windows...you can burn discs by just dragging files into it's folder, and you can keep adding instead of making sure you've completely picked the files. and it finallizes the disc once you eject. So it's almost as easy as copying files from one folder to another

yeah no wonder Nero stopped working on it lol

it does have some nice features though, just that I miss the options I once had

well if you hear only sound, that means you havent set up the computer so you can see the picture. Under the control panel, type "multiple moniters" in the search box, and that should give you step by step instructions how to set it. On my toshiba, I just press the "fn" buttton and F5 button, and that gives me options as to what moniters I want to view. On windows Xp though, there was an opton to view only certain windows on the tv at a given time, it was more complicated and had a lot more options than windows vista, but I only set it up once and I could actually see my whole screen on tv everytime I hook it up, if I start playing any kind of media, the tv focuses solely on that. BUt with windows vista, the font and everything on my computer screen gets huge if I chose the option to view on tv, and on the computer screen, so when I'm not hooked up, I have to make changes so that the screen resolution looks more realistic on the comp. and its' pretty damn annoying to keep doing that . It doesnt allow me to multitask either, so whatever I'm doing on the comp shows up on tv, even if I have media on

well I dont mind if my connection is slow, but it's not my connection, cause spicy works fast and so does the other web pages and I'm on wireless, but it doesnt buffer, which I prefer, instead its' streaming real slow with just sound but frozen picture. Pam I use s-video to connect my computer to the tv, that's always been the case

how long does it take for the video for iptv to start showing the media for you shamp?

windows vista and everything is just more difficult like I cant even watch lakorns on tv anymore and multitask like before if I connect the computer to the tv, all that would show up was whatever I was watching, if windows media was open, it would make that the principle screen, while on the computer I work on other stuff without interupting what's seen on the tv there was an option for it, but I dont think vista has that option

I never had problems when I was using windows xp well not never, but not all day like this, what's going to happen when I want to watch live iptv?

Is it taking ages for iptv to load and the media to start? urrg the window comes up and it takes ages for it to finally load, and when it does, it's streaming at 64 kps for me

wow how generous of you Pam but it's alright, I'll bare with this one until my the next term and I'm going to get a new one in a month or so lol. I use a laptop. I have a desktop I dont use, too slow for me I cant log into either sn at Oil's board on netscape, I think they locked it cause I attempted too many times as Ai I got in using msn though

The screen has been in the shop three times already, they cant seem to fix it properly I picked out a random password, and it kept be logged in when I go to the page, now it kick me out I dont rmember

it comes with the compture and its' called restore cds, or recovery cds

i'm not good with computers either. well is there anything on the computer you want? files, videos? anything? if so you need to save all those into cd or whatever u use to save stuff on lol. Then you just pop in ur restore cds and it usually runs automatically by itself. There's two choices, pick the one that brings you to factory settings. It's worked for me before, so it should work for you. But it's a long process, better to have it running overnight. you just have to keep an eye on it for 15 minutes or so? cause it keeps asking you if you're sure while the restore process can take umm not sure anymore, but it's long, could be an hour? I dont rmemeber

it's not hard to restore, the hard part is backing up all ur files cause BEFORE you restore, you lose everything, it restores your computer back to exactly how it was when you bought it

oh so I'm right, you dont have the software for it. You know, if you reboot the computer, meaning, just install ur restore cds, everything should work fine, whether or not you have the software for the media stuff. I never have to use mine, restore cds usually does the work

the scroll thing can be fixed on the control panel too, under printer and other hardware., try changing the settings in either keyboard or mouse
