Its basically the same as here where if youre spending more than x amount of dollars you got to pay taxes on it. Even our alcohol allowance is one 1L bottle per person. I came back with 2 bottles and acted so casual about it without realizing 2 means I got to pay taxes, the lady at customs just let me go scotch free though lol

I dont think Loreal will be letting go of Chom any time soon, and if they do they would let Mai go to Cannes since shes the Loreal rep. I dont think that Mai is prettier than Chom. No matter how rich Min is at the moment, spending 100k on a bag is not justified. Those bags are more suited for Hollywood celebs who to them 100k bag is not a big deal, no need to show off. Sure she can afford it, but is she spending beyond her means? I think so. The thai stars are flashy. Even some hollywood celebs who are 20X more rich dont go off and buy a Birkin bag. David Bekham alone makes 50-75million a year, and Victoria I hear makes more than her hubby, so yes she can buy as many birkin bags as she wants just using the interest sitting in her bank account. At the same time that Victoria is buying these bags, the Beckhams are donating millions a year to charity. So those birkin bags Victoria are always sporting, is only a small percentage compared to what shes making in donations to make a difference. So this is what I mean they have money to burn. Most Thai stars make at most 6-7 digits USD.

Birkin bags start at around 20k, and Min can probably afford 3, but there is no way she was able to buy 3 at one time because its impossible to get a store to sell you 3 at once. She wasnt being truthful in her post with all the Hermes boxes around her and let people assume those were all bags.

Anyway I think this is a problem a lot of asians have. Most of show offs and most want to compete with each other, and most spend beyond their means. Like you see Asians on welfare, yet they all drive a luxury cars lol. And even those who dont want to spend beyond their means, they are pressured by their peers. I know of one lady who drives domestic car and her friend criticized her for not driving an imported car.

Don't think like that Tina, if anything you should be proud you're not spending it on items you shouldn't be. I buy what I can afford and nothing more. I buy stuff on sale. I wait for the mark downs lol. The only thing I don't cheap out on is makeup and skincare because those items may be costly but it lasts forever..and your face deserves the care lol. I don't think any Thai star should be carrying the Birkin bag, they can afford it yes, but they don't make enough to justify it. If you're rich like Victoria Beckham then by all means no one will be criticizing you for spending that type of money. But when you're making Thai baht and not even 1/4 rich like the Beckhams that's just spending beyond your means

Most of us can afford Chanel, just that can we justify it. When I carried my Chanel I was constantly licking my fingers and wiping any mark I put on it lol. I'm much happier with my Marc Jacobs bag that I can toss around.

I will say that I'm not assuming because Shamp and I did our research and compared the real item off the runway to Aums and we found more than enough of her in replica dresses, shoes, etc etc

you know whats funny is that a lot of the thai stars actually buy followers and likes to make it appear to thier fans that theyre so famous. A lot of the supporting people are in the millions too yet some hollywood and korean and chinese stars dont have as many followers or likes like some of the thai stars have like 5 million followers yet cant even get over 100k views on their videos

Im not going to lie, but I have a love for shoes. I have unique feet, theyre not big but theyre wide, so its hard to find pretty shoes that fit properly. Ive spent 750 on ankle boots before so I can wear it with my black dress. it was so pretty, had a bow on it too

I like small purses that goes over my shouldrs since its easier to carry and I dont have to worry about ever leaving it behind lol. Thats why Hermes isnt my type of a bag lol. I think if I ever got one I would put it away in the closet just to look at it lol
