Well weren't some people saying that people are undeserving when it's based on popularity so you can't control that. The only ones that can be disputed here is the awards with the blue trophy and weir got one hahaha And yaya actually doesn't win for best actress most of the time. The award she won was most popular actress which isn't about performance but popularity. And most of her awards are most popular girl, koo jin etc... haahha she almost never wins best actress for acting ahahha Khun rudklao for sood kaen san ruk won best actress for acting here. Most of the awards to me are popularity awards when it's from magazines or newpapers. If there's any merit to it, it has to come from the actual people in the film and tv industry and yeah in a perfect world if they can watch wall 70 lakorns that are produced annually ahhahaha I mentioned back that oscar voters admit that they don't watch all of the films nominated so forget thai et ahahha No award system really has merit nowadays, not the oscars, grammy's... for american's I know billboard awards has merit coz it's based on stats. And SAG awards is a good one coz the voters are with fellow actors. Oscars is like most prestigious base on history but a lot of people are aware that it's based on popularity and campaigning.

I don't think it's a big deal because who else is going to nominate you, your competition? For hollywood, it's mostly driven by studios who push for every ballot they think they deserve. For kom chad, it's based on popularity and panel votes. You can't be mad at popularity voting coz it depends on the kind of fans the stars have. For kom chad, they still award if you don't show up coz last year nadech won but couldn't attend so yaya accepted for him. It's not one of the ones that give to runner up...well except for yaya and gun's awards which is dumb... that's why more stars show up to this one. Then they have panel voters that's not based on popularity... so this one has a good mix of popularity and merit but then again who the hell are these panel voters...

It's not a self nomination because only specific people have the power to nominate. They're not saying, hey I'm nadech and I nominate myself. What they're doing is they're "asking" for a nomination not that they're nominating themselves. It's like if you want to enter an art contest. You can't just say I'm in coz I nominate myself. You submit your work and a panel of judges judge your work.

I'm not sure if thai et does the same, but hollywood does that too. It's not really self nomination, it's a submission of your work for the people of the organization to consider your work. In hollywood, the talents would submit reels which are videos, like a clip of a scene, for the judges to determine who should be nominated then ultimately win.

A fan asked Khun tu that and she said they'll be some mix and matching.... But I also think if they haven't rehearsed in the studio together, it may be just a quick duet in the big group parts. The singing will be done individualiy, duets, and various groups and big groups.
These are the performers: nadech, mark, Mario, James ma, jj, boy, alek, grate, bomb denkhun, ken p, Alex, Bella, Yaya, Kim, Margie, mint, teaw, Matt, and Toey.
It's cool they're adding more couples but they missed out not getting tor and ice. If they're adding supporting people and a nobody like denkhun, they could've pushed more popular people. Hell debut nine he's musical too.

Dang they're still rehearsing. I guess they need it coz they didn't go rehearse as much as they did last year. Praying for Mario ahhaha he can't really sing or dance ahhaha I hope the sound engineer don't tweak everyone's voice too much this year. These are times that I wish Porsche is with ch3...

The annual soccer match is this Saturday! The year sure went by quick coz it just seemed like not too long ago we were talking about the awful costumes, parade walkers, and boring koo jin segment haha.
This year the team is divided into Team Pink vs Team Neon Green.

Most anticipated for me ny, potentially good James ma and mint, most dreadful teaw and denkhun wtf I don't know why they're paired up ahhaha
They should not have Khun Kai style the parade anymore but going with the theme, they should perform the ost. From his lakorns from the 90s unbeatable.... The soundtrack today are no where near that good. So far from the songs they're practicing, I only like the song that mark and Kim and I think Toey and Alex are also performing from the nai reun jai ost sung by Margie.

They did it last year too which I think is stupid. Why give an award to someone who actually lost Hahahaha and I think it's embarrassing that it's Bella twice like you couldn't beat Yaya, again Hahahaha

Hahah it's true thip! There's s thread on it at pantip. I like the panel voted awards coz the winners are great choices. Although I would give best script to ka bordin and not soot kaen because the kids half of that story dragged it down.

The special event this year is going to have the stars sing each other's theme song. This would've been really great if the soundtrack was half as good as the classic lakorns ahaahaha
Looks like grate and Matt will sing Mario and mints lakorn's song.
Kim will sing Margie's single from nai reun jai... So it could be any song really not just recent ones.

All of the awards are bias ahaahaha even voters for the oscars admit that they didn't watch all of the nominated movies. I actually watched quite a few lakorns last year but I only watch channel 3 so other performances aren't included in my judgement. But I choose ken from krating as best actor and Kuhn rudklao e yam from sood kaen. I mean if you didn't separate gender she should be best actor for the year too coz that role and performance was cray! Supporting actor I would choose chai for the mafia series and supporting lady I think either Benz or donut would be great choices. My best lakorn was kha Bordin. That's my list. And I think all channels kinda stepped up their game last year with producing more interesting lakorns because I haven't watched that many lakorns in one year for like a decade.

Naw. I'm paying $200 for Beyoncé and that's a bargain! I don't think their price is that bad considering the amount of artists they got and how difficult it is to reunite them and since its been almost 20 years. These artists were like the peak of Thai pop in the 90s so they have fans that think they're worth it that's why the tix sold well.
