Need a good recommend on laptop for work and school? I don't want any Apple product because it's too pricey for me. Something around $800 and down but very good.

These days its very affordable now I think you will find something good. Just do some research. I haven't bought a new laptop for awhile since my second last year of studies.

In my house we have 2 asus and 1 toshiba. I'm the only one to have a toshiba. Both brands are very good but it seems that asus is better.

Have the asus transformer.... Laptop and tablet and it was $320 on amazon. Free windows 10 update. Super light and simple. So if you're not gonna be downloading stuff it's pretty reasonable.
