I think there is global warming to a point. I think it is just another thing for powerful people to hold over our heads. To scare us. The earth naturally goes through phases. There isn't any global warming where I live. We've had tons of snow and rain the past few years. No global warming here. LOL. I do believe in recycling and reusing thing, not wasting water and electricity, walking instead of using the car, etc,...

I believe if people became more considerate of one another we'd be fine. Unfortunately, life isn't like that, no peace on earth. I do believe there is still more good than evil. When the day comes there is more evil then we will see what God will do to this earth. (: Right now these natural disasters are happening to humble people. To humble us.

It makes me so sad to hear of all the natural disasters that have been happening the last while. There is a fault line where I live and there should be an earthquake sometime too. Don't know when though. I guess, we can only prepare, right? I have our 72 hour kits, our two week supply of water (I am going for a years worth, but have 1 months worth for 6 people), and 1 year supply of food for 8 people. The year supply is basics to make bread and what not, to survive. I have other stuff in our food storage too, like chocolate chips and treats, stuff to make you a bit happier. I've been working on beans and cornmeal for a year supply. The hardest thing to store is water. I have these huge 50 gallon jugs in my garage. Just 2 of them right now along with 5, 15 gallons and 5, 5 gallons plus I have like 80 gallons of bottled water in my basement with the food storage. I have rice, oats, and wheat to feed 10 people for a year.

Be prepared is my motto. Take care of our earth...

yUP...be prepared with food and water is extremely important...but don't forget weapons too and other survival sharp things. U'll never know...People go crazy and will try to harm you and your family.

Shamp, I'll have to get the website that helps me prepare my food storage supplies. In 2008, I canned almost 200 cans of dried goods like wheat, sugar, rice, oats. It took me hours to do it.

I more than likely will donate. Our neighborhood does donations for every disaster.

TD, we have 2 rifles, 2 pistols/guns, BB guns. Knives is a good one. Gas is a hard one to store. I just make sure my tanks are full. I have extra propane and other cooking means too.

I try not to depress over it. I do my best to enjoy today and make the best of it. Be prepared is really all you can do.

lol yeah preparation is always good. If natural disaster come around, we hardly could anything with it. But if it's a blackout, at least foods are ready.
