for me what got me is she was so close to her wedding, also it happened in a place you'd think wouldnt happen with the security. Such a tragedy.
the lawyer for the accused is now asking for a probe into the leaks from the police. It's like she has no right to chose to live, yet the murderer has the right to keep info about the murder private until court date. Personally I think it's so evil that a lawyer can defend someone who is so guilty of the crime. But someone's got to the do the job right? He's a public defender.

Being a lawyer is so bad, you have to defend them no matter what as long as they still stand that they did not do it even though you believe they did lolz unless he confess to the lawyer than the lawyer can do something about it.

But yeah, even if the lawyer believes the defendant is at fault, as a defender he/she must defend that's why Defenders get paid way more than prosecutors

No that's not always the case, if you're a hired lawyer then you have the right not to defend. you pick and chose cases you want to defend. But if you're a public defender hired by the state then you have no choice cause the suspect or accused has the right to an attorney. From what I hear his own lawyer has already stepped down, what he has now are lawyers from the public defender department.

Yup...if you're public defender...you have to defend regardless as you are appointed. As for regular defense atty they choose who they want to defend, true, but there are some cases where they know their clients are at fault, still they defend cuz of money and some ish the ego thang.

thats why I said they it's not always a must for them to defend. It's their choice. But in most high profile cases, the defendant has a public attorney you dont have that choice cause you're appointed by the state
