Kwan Passes Up Going International, Doesn’t Betray Channel

Returning very strongly once again with the role of Noo Yim in “Roy Ruk Roy Barb”, thus Kwan Usamanee, Dida, still claims her top nang’ake status of Ch. 7, having continuous lakorn projects despite having negative news that has only interfered with her star status lightly, passes up going international, still hasn’t thought big, the production label (kai) asks for a contract renewal, wishes to repay channel and has never been ungrateful.

Seeing that others have had an opportunity to go international, do you want to enter with them?

“Let’s focus within the country first ka. Allow things to settle in well first. I’m afraid once I combine and mesh them, neither may turn out good.”

And why if there are offers, will you accept them?

“It depends on my Mom and the channel ka. Right now, I want to study; I want to set an example first. I want to receive my diploma with my friends; I want to achieve this accomplishment of success within this age alongside my friends/class. I believe they will be great memories. Money, it can be earned anytime but the memories, you have to keep them accordingly to its time.”

Right now, how’s the contract with the channel?

“I’ve already extended it but not sure how many years. I’ve already signed it for a while now.”

Right now, the trend of moving is hot, have other channels contacted you?

“In terms of other things, I don’t know but the elders of both channels, Ch. 3 and Ch. 7, I love them both. Anything is fine with me because I love both; it’s basically the same with both channels. Being in this channel, the elders have been good to me, have always given me lakorn projects continuously. I’ve existed up to today is because the elders at Ch. 7 have always granted me lakorns. As for the elders at Ch. 3, they have given me a road of acting academics. I have never forgotten, before I came to Ch. 7, I asked the elders at Ch. 3 and they gave me that opportunity. I say, they’re pretty respectable elders.”

Seems like Khun Daeng of Ch. 7 adores you very much?

“I feel good ka. Whoever I’m with, I have to love that person. For example, like when there’s news, there’s nothing, it’s normal, I don’t smile so I look fierce right? When I’ve spoken too much and my mouth is tired, I don’t smile much but then the photos come out saying I look very fierce, Auntie Daeng and the elders at Ch. 7 would teach me that I must smile at all times. They re-discipline me to better understand the situation. When there’s news, it’s always me because I don’t have a manager who would fend off those news/rumors. For others, they have managers who takes care of them but me and my Mom, we’re not.”

^Yah, I agree, she's better off with Ch. 7. But then, Kwan was only 15 at that time so I think if she stayed with Ch. 3, they would possibly have promoted her when she got older but then, who knows.

Well, at least in this interview, she is someone who doesn't burn her bridges. She's keeping it netural with both channels. But man, I just hope if Khun Daeng really adores Kwan all that much, stop giving her dumb roles lol And maybe 3 lakorns per year instead of the usual 2 lol

I think Kwan has a contract with Dida then. Her first Ch. 7 lakorn was with Dida and seems like her hits have been with Dida thus so far. And in here, they mentioned that Dida wanted to renew the contract.

With me i'm 50/50 if she stay she gets to star along side good looking p'eks and if she does move she might gets more works as Ch7 only give her two lakorns per year to air.

she's good with ch7, ch3 unless she gets picked up as a favorite she might sink over there like before.

I'm 50/50 not sure she should stay at ch7 or not..Khun Daeng not really adore her as Pancake & Pinky....Kwan only has 2 lakorn per year but the other 2 actress has 3 or 4 per year.

totally way better off with Ch7. 2 lakorns is pretty good per year and sometimes its coz the actress doesn't want to except alot because of studies or whatever.

Ch 3. focus's on their elder actresses way more, they don't have alot of young nang eaks. Ch 7 has a greater variety, age group

Ch 7 gives kwan really good roles to, in my opinion anyway.

Hm, I've been following Kwan's news and stuff and still, I'm not sure if it's Kwan or the channel that decides she'll only get 2 lakorns per year. It could very likely be the channel because Kwan is orginally from Ch. 3 so Ch. 7 will always adore, promote, and save better lakorns for Pinky and Pancake and other Ch. 7 born stars.

^ lol that's true because they can still be acting as n'ek or p'ek in their late 30 or to early 40 lolz with Ch7, I think the most they can keep to lead status is early 30 or mid 30 than they start to share with younger leads... but who knows!

^That's what I'm thinking too but you know, Kwan, Pinky, Pancake could spend their youth at Ch. 7 and their late 20s to mid 30s at Ch. 3. They've built a fanbase that will support them for many many years to come.

Ch. 7 does unwelcome celebrities past 30 as leads, the only ones left that are still active are like Poh and Aum lol
