i'm actually tired of complaints that don't offer any other suggestions on how to get out of this recession.

how did we manage to get out of the great depression? maybe we could be using those same tactics now.

seriously...waiting for the world to change

but for reals, obama has only been in office for how many months? compare that to the two terms that bush served, i think we need to give it time to see if it'll work. i expect change but i know it aint gonna happen overnight. give it a couple of years and see what happens, then i'll be able to give a more accurate opinion of what i think of his new budget bill.

Initially when I heard to the Tea Party I thought they were a grassroots group that believed in equality for all and usually protested on behalf of poor/middle class people who don't always have a say in things. For example way back when we were fighting for Civil Rights, etc. After having followed the reports/news on this group I am starting to realize that this is not the same group. They are using the Tea Party name as a cover up, their actions are mostly to block anything President Obama wants to do, protest any changes or progress in the congress is trying to implement, pretty much ensure that this presidency FAILS in it's 4 year term because a lot of conservative Americans cannot stand to see the first Black President accommplish more than any white president has ever done. It took almost 100 years for us to pass the Health Care reform bill and now Obama has done it...they tried their hardest to do what they can to block this, even threatening the lives of people in the congress...but in the end they were unsuccessful and the first black President in History will have a spot in American history for passing such a large bill. I don't think President Obama has a clear path of what he's going to do to fix these major problems the Bush administration left for him (2 wars, recession, controversy, corruption, etc.) but I feel he tries to do his best for the country and hopes that what he is doing is helping. We should be supporting his efforts as people of this country and not try to damage, block, protest, lie, etc. In the end we are all part of the same country and if we are bad mouthing our own president how respectable are we looking to other countries as a whole? The only people the Tea Party is hurting really are their own people in America.
