Story Summary

The story begins when Lalita's mother Mary,(oopsies, sorry, forgot her name in the lakorn)in hope of being married to adoptive parent's son, Tom,(don't know his name eigther)Mary sleeps with him. She learned too late, after getting pregnant, that Tom had no real intensions of marrying her at all. Tom later goes on to marry a wealthy woman of a good family name. Tom's mother not wanting to abandon Mary (her adoptive daughter), set up a place for Mary to stay, a small house in the back yard of the family mansion.
First a daughter was born to Mary, whom she named Sai (played by Lalita), and a couple of years later Tom's wife too had a daughter, Julie(don't know her name so....). Through out the years Sai and Julie constantly battled each other for their father's affection. Then one terrible day when Sai was 10 and Julie was 8, fought over a toy near the pond. Julie fell in and nearly drowned. Julie's mother heard of the news and heavily and harshly blamed Sai saying it wasn't an accident. She verbally and physically abused Sai. It was a day that Sai would never forget. Mary was at work at the time of the incident and when she came home to find Sai all beat up she was furious. Mary confronted her adoptive mother, and Tom about what happened to Sai, and they wouldn't punish Tom's wife for what she did. This greatly hurt Mary.
Later on that night when everyone was asleep, Mary had decided to run away with Sai, run off to start a new life. She could no longer endure the pain placed upon her by the family. First Mary went to Sai's teacher's home to stay for the night. That's when Sai first meets her first love, Bea. Bea who was 12 is the teacher's grandson. Bea saw that Sai was all bruised up and crying so he tried to comfort her. Bea put medicine on the cuts and bruises, and gave Sai one of his prized posessions, a music box. It always made him feel better when he was sad. This is a very important moment for Sai. She would never forget her compasionate heroe.
Sai and Mary stayed the night and left in the morning, away from Bankok, to the sands and oceans of the Thai shores. There, Mary meets her future husband Bob. Bob was a widowed millionaire. One day while Bob was walking along the empty beach he had a stroke and Mary was the only one in sight. Since she was a nurse she was able to help until Sai went to call an ambulance. Bob and Mary developed more than a friendship and love, but mutual respect. Bob was an older more wiser man. Mary needed someone strong like him to help her through her hard times. They eventually married and moved to Monacco of Europe.
Ten years later, Sai is 20, and grauduated from colledge as an interior designer (that's what she did in real life too!). Willy McIntosh also lived in Monaco and worked as a building contractor, in charge of building condos and hotels and stuff. He is an adoptive son of a wealthy businessman. Although he constantly has to proove himself to earn the respect and trust of his step father. Willy and Sai were best friends from High school and Willy always loved Sai. She grew to be a strong, beautiful, independant, and intelligent woman.
One day Sai and Mary get a letter from Bankok. It explained that Sai's grandmother had passed away and Sai was named in her will. The letter asked Sai to be present at the opening of the inheritance will. All those years of trying to forget the painful pass and just one letter brings back all the memories. Mary didn't want anything more to do with her past but Sai wanted to go to Bankok. Not for the inheritance, she couldn't care less, but to end years worth of painful memories. Sai wanted to confront the past so she decided to go back to Bankok without her mother.
Sai's initial goal was to get revenge on her step sister, on her father's wife. Julie was engaged and Sai tried to seduce her fiance. She made Julie's fiance fall in love with her. Later on she discovered her sister Julie was innocent, nieve, and warm hearted. She could no longer go on with her plans for revenge.
Sai later on concentrated on persueing a relationship with the man of her dreams, Bea. Bea loved Sai too but had such a hard time showing it. On the other hand, Willy, didn't have a hard time showing Lalita his affections but she couldn't get Bea out of her mind. (even tho Willy was so sweet and charming to her) Willy was heartbroken by Sai's rejection. Julie no longer loved her fiance because she fell in love with Willy. Julie was always there for Willy whenever he needed a friend to talk to and she was there when he was in the worst situation of his life, losing the girl he wanted to marry, and losing his company to his own step father. Willy wished Sai was there for him in his time of need but there was only Julie. Eventually Willy saw Julie's kindness and decided to give her a chance. They then got engaged. When Bea rejected Sai, Sai needed her best friend Willy with her. Sai was extremely heartbroken when she discovered the only person that ever loved and cared for her was engaged to her own step sister. When Sai discovered how much Willy meant to her it was to late. He slipped into another woman's arms.
Enraged by this news Sai became angry with Julie. Sai always thought that Julie was stole her father and his love away from her. This event reminded her of the past, so out of anger she lashed out at Julie. Julie didn't want to hurt anyone, so she let Willy go, and road off on a boat. An accident occured and Julie drowned ( just like when she was a child, she still couldn't swim).
At first everyone, Willy, Bea blamed Sai for Julie's death. After the funeral Sai went back to Monacco. In a dream, Julie spoke with Willy as an angel. Julie told Willy not to blame Sai for what happened, and that she wanted her sister and Willy to be happy. Later on that day Willy went to Bea to make him confront his feelings for Sai. Bea realized that he did love her. Bea and Willy later went together to Monacco to see Sai. After all that happened Sai didn't end up with Bea or with Willy. She needed more time to heal all the wounds. But Willy, Sai, and Bea spent some time in Monacco together as good friends.
