now i do agree with you that mccain picked palin as a slap in your face to the democrats.. but he was also wise in that she's fairly clean except for the investigation that they have NO way of proving... she appeals to people who are the working class since she is the working class.. she's for offshore drilling... and she's a woman with a strong family value (evangelical's liking and it's been proven that evangelical has the hightest turnout percentage then any group in america, you can say they make or break a candidate's chances).... however, it is true that she has no experience, but obama doesn't either (however obama has a ready to go presidential vp)... she's young, but she's only 3 years younger then obama.... they said she has no foreign policy knowledge (little do people know, and that's a lot of people, that alaska deal with russia and canada daily).... they said she won't steal hillary's supporters because she's pro-life not pro-choice (well i think that wont make much of a difference because 1. today's women main focus is the economy not abortion and 2. there's a different between a woman being pro-life then a man being pro-life.. women tend to forgive one another in this issue)
it's going to be a very interesting campaign and i can not wait for her debate with biden.. biden is known for his mouth and known for being misinform..
i think it'll be obama/biden, but my fiance think it'll be mccain/palin..
right now.. in the elementary schools in temecula and murrieta california..... parents called a pta meeting regarding racial tension all last week.. elementary kids are already threatening other students about who their parents will vote for.. it's sad.. cus these are elementary kids! they shouldn't know about hate and racism..

At the democratic convention, Hilary went all out supporting Obama, probably hoping and praying that he'd elect her for his VP. I thought it was kind of ridiculous how she did a 360 and totally supported the man, eventhough from the beginning, she was so cut throat with him. I'm sorry, but Hilary recieves two thumbs down from me.
McCain & Palin all the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well right now obama has a slight margin ahead of mccain which is making the dems party really really nervous.. especially the hardcore liberals because they believe that obama should be way ahead...
thing is.. obama can be way ahead or whatever.. he appeals to the young voters.. and young voters just talk a lot.. they're all talk.. but when the day comes, they will be too lazy to get up and go vote.. that's usually the case.. however it might be different this time.. or not..

Don't even get me started with Palin! Did you guys even watch her interview with Charlie Gibson (don't even start, he's a registered Republican)? I thought I'd give her the benefit of the doubt since it was her "first" major interview, but after her Katie Curic interview, she is in some place that's completely out of her league! Her responses were so pathetic that I even felt sorry for her!
Anyway, you're free to disagree with me. I have no problem with it! Remember to vote!

Well, the thing is if you've already made up your mind on who to vote for, then you're not going to change your position easily. If you're an undecided voter then you're still open to listen to who has the better ideas or who represents your values or ideas more.
I was hoping Clinton would win, I'm just as happy with Obama. Natty, I do agree with you to some degree that Obama made the right choice at not choosing Clinton as his running mate. I'd explain my reasoning, but I'm way to lazy to type. Maybe some other time or not. Doesn't matter.

oh yeah i trust him to be a great president on that.... i mean the guy did vote to keep the bridge of nowhere alive..
and plus grrl.. lol don't talk to me about being "open minded" lol not like you are open minded by the way you talk.. you made up your mind already too.. if not, you would still be undecided right now and bring out the pro and cons of both side.. so you, like me, are closed minded and already decided..

I want the troops out when I heard the news, I almost cried. lol You know even if not all, at least some. But something in Iraq need to be solved. I'm going to do my research before I vote though.
Talking about open minded? List the pros and cons of both candidate please!! If you can do that then I'll be glad to listen.

You know Obama really appealed to the middle and lower class citizens due to his talks of future for Americans. lol All in all, democrat has always appealed to the middle and lower class. What I like about Obama is that he talks of the future and he seems very very intelligent. Even if this is all talks, at least he had a plan. Now the questions lies on is this all going to work? Every president promised but never done it correctly. I don't want to vote somebody who just talks and then when become President, his plan doesn't work out. I don't know the future so I wouldn't know if he'll be able to be persistent in working his plan out because there is bound to be problems coming in between.
McCain's joke...not funny. He seems to be following President Bush's administration. This is what many people don't like about him because Americans are scared of another Bush. They have doubt in President Bush thus scary of another Republican ruling.
I got to admit though, I like Obama's plan but don't know if it's going to work. Now McCain. lol Let me finish watching first.
I'm not really good at politics so if I said something wrong
Sometime people vote for the more appealing appearance.

now mccain... i feel bad for him cus he came after bush.. i also feel bad for bush cus this is a president who had to deal with terrorist attack.. and the mess that clinton left.. sure during clinton era, we had a surplus... how can we not when he took all the money out of homeland security and put it into the economy which left the military and homeland security weak. thus gave terrorist open door to attack.. then we had natural disaster to practically crippled the south.. this is a president that had to deal with a lot that wasn't in his control.. he didn't just sit in the office with a cigar playing with the intern... this was actually a president that had to deal with crisis.. he wasn't the best person for that, i wont deny it.. but give him a break, he's not perfect.... i ask.. do you think obama would had done better? i don't think so.. not with his one day say one thing, next day say another so that he can be popular with the other group too.. ridiculous..
but all in all... we need a president that can be balance.. can balance the economy and the military.. cus no matter what, we need the military.. we are hated... and in the future there will be war where we have no choice into going... but i do agree that we also need to worry about or economy as well.. and also we need to get rid of this affirmative action shit... being approve for a home should NOT be base on color or class.. it should be base on INCOME.... that's the main reason why we are in the slump that we are in.... people and their leaders have been crying racism when colors and the lower class could not "afford" to buy a house... so they came up with a system that allow them to buy a house.. well guess what? it fucked up the country... and yeah i hate this bailout shit.. cus seriously, why should I have to pay for your house that you couldn't afford in the first place with my INCREASED taxes.. it's pathetic and a joke.. democrats are a joke.. and liberals are a joke cus all they do is wait for handouts..

The thing is that debate is a joke. I don't think neither of them really have a goal for our country. McCain just kept on attacking Obama and Obama just kept on attacking how the Bush Administration had bad judgment.
But I agreed, I think no matter how much we hated war, we need to keep our military strong. That's safe for us.
I feel bad for McCain cuz he had a record of health history. lol
lol still undecided.
I wouldn't say democrats are a joke....both party has pros and cons.
