CH 31

“..are you trying to seduce me ? kiss me again..” he grin while his eye glow in excitement

“..no..” she turn to the side , wanting to kick herself for that little display . She had no intention to kiss or seduce him .

“..stubborn human..” he murmured and run his tongue down the side of her neck , jaw line , lip , cheek and he held her chin , bringing her face forward . She close her eye and accept his kisses . No matter have many time they join together , is was never enough and his mouth was hungry , leaving wet trail all over her body making her squirm beneath his caress . He draw back ..afraid his fangs will appear and his hand came down between her leg and spread it . Her arm move over his shoulder and down his spine , trying to decided where can she get a firm grip . The demon is huge even her arm doesn’t reach around his back, every area of his body is muscular and rip .

It’s quite surprising he didn’t break her in half. He end the long await with a thrust , moving like a thunder against her thighs. There was a knock on the door. He didn’t stop and keep moving , she open her eye and look up into his face. He slowly shake his head , and continue. She murmured one last protest. And close her eye once his lip came down to silent her moan with one sweet long ..kiss . Her body tense and he shudder. The knocking continue . They continue . When it stop , he collapse and the intimacy of his around her , the scent of him , the way his arms remained around her , drawing her close so her head was resting on his chest and her hand spread on his stomach , she stare down at his navel hair that disappear deep into the forest . She blush at the sight but she couldn’t draw her face away because the demon had his hand smoothing the back of her head.

They laid there for nearly an hour until finally she said “..why didn’t you answer the door ..”

“..why ? I was busy ..” his gently push her off and brought a pillow to replace his arm . He prop on one elbow and stare at her.

She turn to the side and said “..stop looking at me . Get up and get dress..” she reach over and push him away , the demon didn’t even shift .

“ ..you get up and get dress..”

“ ..and let you have the pleasure to see me naked before u again ..”

“....I seen it all..” his eye trail down her chest .

She reach over and cover his eye with her hand . “ ..no looking!..”

“..its all in my memory ..” he chuckle and draw her hand away and sit up , he lean over and kiss her cheek , then move off the bed to collect his clothes . She silently watch him get dress and flushed when he catch a glance of her bewildered eye, she look the other way .The demon was beautiful build from top to bottom , average size for human is only 1/3 of his physical feature and the tone of his body is like an art craft from ancient Greece . His skin is very white ..almost as white as her and the thick black hair of his reach down his neck , his lip is cherry red --- the demon turn around and said “ …are you checking me out ?..”

She blink her eye and clumsily answer, “ ..yes -- no!..”

He took her first answer and find it amuse . Fully dress he walk toward the bed and lift her off the mattress , he walk toward the bathroom and set her down , “ ..take a shower , I’ll tell the servant to bring you some new clothes..” he push the hair behind her ear and plant a long kiss on her forehead. She love the gentle touches of his lip. Never thought he can be this gentle . He pull back and stare into her face .

“..go away..”

“..you are so annoying. When I was ruthless you complain and now that im gentle you tell me to go away ..nothing seen to please you . I had never soften up to any woman before . You are one lucky ..human..”

“..it because im pregnant ..”

“..yes, that’s part of it ..”

“..my blood is the finest..”

“..alright, that also part of it ..”

“..you lust for my body ..”

“..yes, I favor you more than all my mistress..”

“..is those the only 3 reason why you so nice to me ?..”

“..why…yes..”

She was heated. Not sure why but she felt disappointed. And went inside the bathroom. She close the door.

Aum stood there clueless . Not sure what it is that she want him to say . He doesn’t understand woman nor does he understand himself . But one thing for sure , he can’t live without her . The last time she run away , he went completely insane for weeks and destroy everything in sight ! If she does it again , he will die -- surely he will die . He had grown so attach with this human .

CH 32

Rina saw the couple went to the chamber and she was furious and knock at the young master ’s door but there was no response !! She came back to her own chamber and sat down beside the dresser , she comb her hair in front of the mirror and imagine the reflection was Prisana , smiling at her ..in mockery . Rina slam down the comb and her hand was trembling in anger . Never had she expect the table to be turn around in such a twist of fate , the damn servant girl…is pregnant ! The young master will indulge on the girl more than ever now ! She must do something. Must come up with a plan to break the two apart. Rina will not stand aside and watch the young master drift away from her .

The next day , Le asked Prisana to accompany her , they went out back to the garden where Tai work . Prisana loves Le’s sense of humor and enjoy talking to her , and out of all the mistress only Le would approach her as a friend without giving the cold glare . They sat down on the bench and watch the butterfly jump from roses to roses , Tai was plowing dirt nearby and turn around to smile at the couple . Le wave and Tai wave back .

“..he never seen to stop smiling every time I see him ! ..” said Le while continue to wave at the gardener . Then turn to Prisana and ask “ ..does the baby give you a hard time ? ..”

“..not so much , before I get nausea and morning sickness ..and ..contraction ..”

“..contraction ? ..” Le giggle and said , “..your baby is a vampire..”

“..yes , my little vampire..”

“..the child probable come out with fangs ..” Le laughed

Prisana smile at the thought , “ ..baby fangs…cute..”

“..does the young master ever talk about the baby ? He must be thrill..”

“..he never express it . He hardly talk about the baby at all ..”

“..don’t be sad . He very happy . I can tell by the way he look at you . His eye sparkle ..”

“..his eye is green , its’ away sparkle ..”

“..you are really blind ! All the mistress envy you ..”

“..im quite aware of that ..”

“...all of them want to be pregnant with his child , including me but my luck isn’t so good , probable the worst ! I do love him and want him to be happy , so I do not envy you at all..”

“..y-you love him..”

“..yes , of course . Don’t you ?..”

Prisana was silent.

Le smile and said , “ ..well, love can come later . You might not love him now but later when the child is born..”

“..why do you love him ?..”

“..I really …don’t know..” Le said frankly , “ ..probable the sex..” she giggle .

Prisana turn red and whisper “..Tai is near by..”

“..o’ yes ..I forgot..” Le clear her throat and continue , “..vampire posses special power and they can suppress human mind , its possible my love for him is just a physical thing ..”

“..how does it feel like..”

“..well, when he use his power his eye glow very bright and it will hypnotic our mind , our body will relax and fall into a deep sleep ..very dreamy and feel wonderful ..it like floating on cloud ..”

“..his eye always glow when ever he with me ..but I never feel sleepy or dreamy ..nor does my body relax just by looking at it..”

“..because his power doesn’t have any effect on you . His eye always glow ? Wow. He really use up a lot of power to relax you ..” Le laugh. Poor master. His energy will get drain from using to much of his power .

Prisana thought back at all the time they were together . Back then she was scar and his eye will glow but since his power didn’t have any effect it terrify her even more. The demon probable use to women giving in to his demand by using his power to seduce them , that way he can be rough or passionate all he want . No wonder he took her so many time so savagely .Bad demon.

“ ..how often does he feed ? I mean ..I should know about these thing because my child is a vampire too..”

“..only once or twice a week ..but depend on how much power he use too , if he goes out into the sunlight it will drain lots of his power , blood will be needed after to much exposure ..and he never feed on the same mistress twice in the same month. He switch between mistress to give them time to recover but usually after you get bitten it only take a few day for recovery , so really he could bit her again in the same week but he prefer not to .. ”

“ ..then how come I always see him going to chamber from chamber every day. when I was still a servant I had came across several occasion…he was in bed with...um..”

Le laugh and saw the blush on Prisana’s face , “..it because he want to impregnate them ! Or maybe he just ..one horny vampire . I can promise you this, it wasn’t for a meal ! It was purely a man lust but for the pass weeks he haven‘t been visiting any of the mistress chamber like before…weird …he change a lots ..”

“..really ?..” Prisana’s face lift and smile .

“ ..you happy to hear that , don’t you ?..” Le tease.

Prisana was embarrass and drop her smile , “ ..I mean…I was just surprise that’s all..”

“..come on , let get inside ..it getting late ..the sun is about to set ” Le rose up

“..I want to stay here a bit longer ..”

“..suit yourself ..” Le walk toward Tai and give him a shove . She giggle after seeing his face land on the ground. He got up and playfully turn to wipe the dirt on her face , she scream and run , he chase after her with his dirty hand. Prisana watch the couple and smile . She wish to have such fun again , back at the farm she often play hide-go-seek with the worker’s children .

She rose suddenly , thinking it time she should return inside . As she walked across the expanse lawn, she suddenly found herself drawn to the fence that enclosed the family cemetery . She heard about the Nawadee ’s line was bury here . Vampire does die at old age just like human and according to rumor the Nawadee had been living in this property for over a 100 years . She reach the gate . Strange, it was open . She slip into the cemetery and saw several mount but one particular gravestone was beautifully sculptured , in the center of the graveyard . She approach it saw the picture on the stone was the lady from the painting . It read Seyla, my beloved wife whom I love dearly and forever . After she finish reading there was a strong breeze rush across the yard and the flower that was laying by the tomb flew in the air , she follow it while the wind was blowing against her back , the air was normal again and the flower drop to the ground. Prisaia look around at where she was at . She can see the window of her old room from here and across from it is the ...lake . It like a sign ..from somewhere , telling her to goes to the lake and she will find something there. Prisana use to see a white figure standing by the lake at night and often get scar while sleeping in her old room.

“..Prisana..” said Aum , he was standing behind her .

She turn around , “ ..master ..the sun still up . Why are you outside walking around..”

“..I call your name several time but you didn’t answer me. So , I follow you ..”

“ ..I didn’t hear you ..”

“..lets get inside ..unless you want me to dissolve into dusk out here in the sun ..”

She smirk, “..that will be good ..”

“..when did you became a vampire slaver !..” he chuckle and lift her into his arm , she scream .

“..careful! Don’t drop me !..”

“..then stay still..” he pretend to loosen his grip and nearly drop her to the ground , she gasp and cling around his neck , then she pound him on the chest

“..what kind of father are you !..”

“..the little one is probably having fun...don’t you think ? ..” he carry her the rest of the way home. Passing several mistress on their way to the chamber. The girls was heated by the scene and grow very jealous. The young master had never display such affection in public ! He not only carry the servant girl but he was smiling and kissing her . He had never been this lively and affectionate toward anyone !

CH 33

Prisana haven’t fully adjust herself to be a vampire mistress yet , she wasn’t use to having a servant follow her around and tending her need . The servant was a young girl name Oni , barely 16 years old and very mature for her age . She will not let Prisana lift anything or go anywhere without her because Ms. Nawahdee strictly ordered. The demon often disappear right after breakfast and return back last in the evening , she wonder where he goes but was afraid to ask . She doesn’t want him to think she worry or care about him or just plain...nosey . It been one month that the demon brought her back and during those time he had not slept outside their chamber nor have he slept with one else beside her . The fact isn’t confirm but Prisana can tell , because when they are together he never have enough of her ..but he wouldn’t suck her blood , it not like she want him to but if he doesn’t , that’s mean he probable sucking his other mistress blood. During the full moon the demon will leave their chamber because he afraid his transformation will scar her and he doesn’t tell her the reason why but she is aware of it , he very thoughtful --- even though he secretly hide his motive . Also during the full moon the baby move around lots and Ms. Nawahdee said when it happen she must stand by the window and search for the moonlight , the baby will absorb the energy and increase in size. Priana is three months into the pregnancy and since this is her first child , the mount isn’t visible yet and the demon often complain to her to eat more because she doesn’t look pregnant at all ! There time he would wake her up in the middle of the night and ask her if she want anything to eat , she would mummer no ..no...no but he will leave the room and come back with a tray of hot meal . Prisana know he probable drag the cooker out of bed and roar at the poor soul !He doesn’t understand anything ..or have any knowledge about pregnant woman , he might be a giant but his brain is a size of his eye! Even though the thing he does seen odd and left unexplained but she had grown use to his habit and there time she secretly smile but she dare not show it in front of him, she doesn’t want him to know how happy she is. Yes. In a crazy way …she does enjoy his presence , he had change from the first time they meet into a completely different person but he still demanding , ignorant , loud , and dominant .

Prisana was in the kitchen helping the cooker prepare dinner when Oni came in and said Ms. Nawahdee wishes to see her in the guest room. Prisana washes her hand and went into the guest room , once she got there Ms. Nawahdee was sitting on the sofa waiting for her .

“..sit down ..”

Prisana nervously take a seat across from the old lady and ask , “ ..is there something you want me to do ?..”

“..you remember what we talk about ..the last time right ..”

“..I do but--

“..my son probably said he will not let you leave ..isn’t that right ?..”

“..yes…” she nodded with hope in her eye

“..do you believe him ? ..”

“..why would he lie ..”

“..it because he doesn’t know about a baby vampire will draw blood on the first human they see and if those blood is from their parent , the child will die instantly..”

“..but he said ..regardless --

“..he said this he said that …my child are you really that soft in the ear ? He will say anything for you to have his child and when its over , he will return back to his old self..”

“..b-but he…said..” Prisana was speechless and felt her heart break . The last couple week he had been so nice and caring , she hate to think his motive is something else..

“..trust me my child , he does not love a human . His father had set a good example for Aum ..”

“..what example ?..”

Ms. Nawahdee expression change into anger , the topic seen to bother her and she rose from the sofa and walk toward the piano , her finger tip lightly touch the key and she said , “..my husband once had 50 mistress living with him and among those was a servant girl whom he love very much . He was so obsess with this human girl ..that he fire all the mistress in one day, her name was Seyla . Very beautiful . She was pregnant with a...human child but one day she disappear and ever since then my husband gone mad . For years he drown himself in tear and despair , he refuse to take his meal and wishes to die . Though we are not sure if Seyla had die or not but he made a gravestone of her out in the family cemetery. Aum hated human for that reason ..and vow to never have any human emotion or heart for any woman. He doesn’t want to end up like his father ..a waste of life ..”

“..but he change . He had been so nice to me ..”

Ms. Nawahdee wickedly laugh and said , “ ..men say anything when in heat of passion , in this last couple months you must nurtures yourself and do not worry about anything , you will be reward greatly and the money will be send to your family , it should be enough for you to live in luxury ..”

Prisana lower her head and stare down on her flat tummy , tear roll down her cheek and wet her hand. She had so much hope and fate in the demon but she was a fool to believe his sweet words. He had made her so happy and she thought she was someone special to him. Prisana rose and run out the room , tear was dipping none stop . She was hurt . Her heart aches …it was unbearable ..she wish he had never been so gentle and caring toward her , he had make her believe in him ..and that hope is being taken way by Ms. Nawahdee ! Its unfair ..why should she give up her child . Rina had been eavesdropping by the door and saw Prisana run out the room , Rina smile wickedly and thought of a plan to get rid of this ..servant girl .

CH 34

Ms. Nawahdee went into the master chamber , the old man was awaken by the foot step . She stop at the bed post and said , “..Aum had impregnate one of his mistress ..she is three months..”

“..the finest blood ..indeed..” said Mr. Nawahdee

“..she was a servant girl ..just like ..Seyla ..”

“..history had repeat itself ..”

“..never !!..”

“..you do not understand anything ..my dear wife ..”

“..what the hell are you talking about !..”

“..to produce a child the finest blood is needed and human blood is the greatest when in ecstasy -- but it also depend on the human itself ..”

“..the secret laid within the human itself , tell me ..what’s the secret..”

“.. love.... I had told you before , human blood can detect emotion . When their body is in ecstasy ..the greatest pleasure of all, their blood will increase in quality…but ..love.. make their blood ..sweet.. ”

“ ..ridiculous ! If that is so how come those mistress couldn’t conceive ?..”

“.. love that is force or control by our power does not count as love…it an obsession. If my theory is correct …that human must of have some feeling for our son ..and his vampire‘s power does not have any effect on her at all , therefore it a love not force . Of all people you should have figure out the secret , Aum was conceive by the man that love you…truly…he was willing to die for you ..”

“..don’t ever mention his name again !!! You wanted an heir ! And you know a vampire can not have a child with another vampire ..what other choice do I have ! I loved you ..with all my heart . I was willing to sleep with another man to get pregnant ..”

“..I do not blame you for that reason . I had loved you and wanted a child . Its my fault and I loved Aum as if he is my own..”

“..you should ! I had give up so much for you ! And what had you done for me ? Nothing! You and your obsession over that human girl ! Betrayed me and take her as your second wife. You broke my heart...so coldly.. ”

“..I’m sorry my dear wife. I owe you so much in this life time . I loved Seyla with all my heart ..without her I no longer have the willpower to live..”

“.....you can not die ..not yet ..”

“..if nothing else ..please leave me ..”

“..and that human will not stay here with our son . I had already told her to leave after giving birth ..”

“..she must be very special to our son , for you to tell her to leave..”

“....I have my suspicious but im sure ..its just lust . he will get over it..”

“ ..if indeed she love him ..shouldn’t you be happy ?..”

“..her love doesn’t matter . My son welfare is what matter to me . I will not allow him to get to attach . His father left the same way and I got over it..”

“..you got over that man because you never love him but this …is different ..”

“..shut up ! I told you not to mention about him ! Aum do not love that human ..!.” Ms. Nawahdee storm out the chamber and slam the door.

It was around 11pm with Tai drove up the driveway . He got out and open the passenger door , the young master step out into the night.

“ ..you can go rest now ..” said Aum

“..yes master..” Tai got back in the car and drove out .

The demon look up and wonder if Prisana is a sleep, he smile and headed to his chamber . He open the door and saw a figure on the bed , she must be a sleep. He quietly undress himself and slip into a robe , he move on the bed ..lightly as possible . Her back was to him and he look over to see her face , her eye was close . He bend to kiss her on the cheek ..once , twice , third time ..he couldn’t get enough of her and keep showering her kisses until she woke up and turn around . He was starring down on her .

“..you’re home..”

“..only a few min now , you want something to eat ..”

“..no…im not hungry ”

“..you still can eat ! I’ll go wake up the cook ..”

“..no , let him sleep..”

The demon smile . She felt warm inside. His hand brush along her lip and lean down to give her a long kiss, he draw back and said “..did my fangs came out..”

“..no ..”

“..good ..” he bend down and kiss her some more and more . He can’t get enough of her sweet lip. Everyday his addiction got worst! He can’t stop thinking about her . It doesn’t matter where he at or what he doing , she always run in his mind. He can’t live without kissing her ..at least 10 x a day.

She move her face away , “ ..that enough , my lip is swollen and face is wet ..”

“..you taste so sweet ..” he said softly and held her chin , drawing it to face him.

“..you probably said it to all your mistress ..”

“..no, black veil. Only with you. If it wasn’t for the child sake , I could take you so many time a day ..or night ..you will not need any clothes at all..”

She blushed. “..I be dead..”

“..not dead but sore and rip..”

She pinch his arm , it had no affect on him…the demon spare no word! “..what are you talking about ..” she force herself not to smile.

“..must I demonstrate..” he grin

She gasped when he roll her on top of him , she was looking down into his green eye and said , “ ..not tonight…we done it everyday . I need a break..” her rosy cheek caught his eye.

“..you are turning red ! You can’t breath ?..” he lightly push her off and laid her down on her back..” his eye was worry while caressing her hot cheek with the back of his hand

“..I’m ok..” she smile. He a dimwit .

“..You want to eat first ..then make love ?..”

“..I ..told you ..not tonight..”

He was disappointed and mummer something to himself. He laid back down beside her and went into the blanket , his hand reach out and held her. They stare at the ceiling. “..are you asleep yet ..” he ask

“..if you won’t stop talking ..I can’t..”

“..alright, get some sleep then ..”

After several moment of silent she decided to ask him , “..if one day ..I was to leave you --

“ ..no !!..” his face turn to the side and said “..you not going anywhere ! You hear me ! No where !!..” his heart pound in fear . His hand tighten around her . He will not allow it. Never.

“..just maybe ..for a little while..”

“..where you want to go ? Tell me ..”

“..visit my parent perhaps..”

“..then you can go but you must come back to me..”

“..I’ll come back..” she said softly while tear was forming in her eye . She does not want to leave him. Before she wanted to run away ..as far as possible but now ..it different .

“..come back soon ..ok ? Ok ? Prisana…say something...please” he waited for her respond .

“..yes...I’ll be back..” she reply and a few drop of tear slide down her cheek . Since the room was dark the tear wasn’t visible and the demon was not aware of her sadness. She heard him sigh and turn his head away , he close his eye to rest and his hand was still holding her.

CH 35

The next morning when Aum woke up he didn’t see her and panic , calling out her name over and over . He search the room and open the bathroom door , she wasn’t there either.

“..im over here..” said Prisana , closing the closet door .

He rush over and embrace her , “ ..puny human…next time if you wake up first , wake me up too . I do not want to wake up without seeing you beside me..” he bury his face into the crook of her neck and held her tightly.

“..I just step out a bit and came back inside..” she move her hand up his back and rest her head on his shoulder

“..black veil…you had became the air I breath every morning..”

She felt like crying. He was giving her hope again. His gentle touch , the sweet flattering words he use and the warmth of his body ..that she had accustom to . She must be strong , the demon is only playing the part ..remember what Ms. Nawahdee said…its only lust ..it only lust…he had vow not to have any human emotion nor will he give his heart to any …human.

“..we should head down to breakfast ..” she push herself away and walk toward the door .

“..I have to leave..”

“..already ? Usually you leave after breakfast..”

“..yes but today I have to be there early…before the sun is high..”

She held her tongue. She want to ask him but decided not to , “ ..when will you be back ..”

“…late at night and...about your parent. Tell me when and I‘ll let Tai drive you there..” he took several step forward and capture her chin , he tilt it up so their eye is level and said “..Do not stay to long at the farm , ok ? If you do , I‘ll go get you back like before..”

“..master..” she whisper . Then her eye watered . He is to cruel . He making her feel wanted and perhaps …love. Ms. Nawahdee know her son better than anyone and Prisana should listen to her. The demon is just playing the part ..after she give birth , he will tell her leave just like what his mother wanted.

“..see you tonight..” he kiss her forehead and walk out the room . She watch his back disappear. She left the chamber a few minute later and while she was walking down the hallway she heard moaning sound coming from the other side of the hallway , she was once told not to access that area . Oni was coming from the opposite side of the hallway where Prisana was standing and asked “..madam’ is there something you wish for me to do ?..”

“..I heard a man voice ..” Prisana pointed to the direction of the sound.

“..that’s the master chamber , Mr. Nawahdee..”

“..I think he in pain . Someone should check him out ..”

“..we are not allow to enter his chamber without Ms. Nawahdee ‘s permission ..”

Prisana turn her head away and follow the servant to the dinning room . She quietly sat down and turn to the side , the seat where the demon use to sit is empty . The mistresses side conversation and laugh like usual , while Prisana stare down on her bowl of soup and slowly stirring it.

“..you should eat instead of playing with your meal..” said Ms. Nawahdee

“..I’m not hungry ..”

“..are you still worry what we talk about yesterday..” Ms. Nawahdee whispered , “ I assure you , after the whole ordeal you will be rewarded greatly ..”

Prisana did not care about reward or wealth. She had live in poverty and survive it. Ms. Nawahdee is a mother herself , why can’t she understand a mother ’s heart ? Nine months of pregnancy …and not a glance of her own child , Prisana rather die than be separated . Yes. It will be hard to rise a baby vampire but she up to the challenge , she must tell her parent . They will understand and help her escape , regardless of the baby origin , the child is still innocent. She had decided and said

“..I miss my parent . Is it ok if I visit them ?..”

“..I will have a driver take you there and you must return before high noon , do not try anything foolish ..”

“..yes madam’..”

After breakfast Ms. Nawahdee went outside and instruct the driver to return back no later than 3pm and if he doesn’t return with the mistress , the punishment will be severe. The driver nodded his head . Ms. Nawahdee walk back inside and passes Prisana at the front entrance ,

“ ..remember...before high noon..”

“..yes..” she confirmed and walk toward the car .

The driver open the passenger door and Prisana went inside , he close the door and got in on the driver side. He turn round and asked “..where to madam’ ..”

“.. the farm , just drive out I’ll direct you the way ..”

The driver start the engine and drove out the mansion , Prisana turn around and watch the roof disappear thru the window , she turn back around . Her heart was aching ..throbbing inside and tear suddenly flow down . She try to silent herself by covering her mouth , the driver heard the cries and look into the rear window and asked

“..are you ok ? ..you want me to stop the car ?..”

“..no, im ok..” she assure and wipe all the tear away , breathing in and out. It was a 2 hour drive to the farm and once they got there she got out of the car . The driver said he will wait for her under the shaded tree by the ranch. Prisana nodded and went into her house . She call out for her parent and her mom came out from the kitchen , Prisana run to hug her while crying into her shoulder . Ms. Tusa was worry and softly patted her daughter back , telling her everything will be alright .

They went into the living room and sat down beside each other , Ms. Tusa held her daughter hand and said “..darling , what wrong ? Did he hurt you ? That day when you left , Tai told us you wanted to go with the young master and for us not to worry..”

“.. I want to leave him..” she was still in tear and talking between sob .

“..then leave him ..it ok ..ok..”

“..he will find me . If I leave him I have to go somewhere he can’t find me..”

“…your father can arrange you to stay with his friend house , its not a problem but you must tell me . Why do you want to run away from him ? Aren’t your pregnant with his child ? Is this a lover quarrel ? You are about to be a mother , if the problem is not big the both of you should talk it out ..”

“..mom…it very difficulty . his mother doesn’t want me to stay with him and after I give birth , she want me to leave ..”

“..you should tell him ! Perhaps he can help you..”

“..he probable plan on having me leave too but he kept silent so I will have his child and not run away again ”

“ ..but im quite sure he love you and his child . You should talk to him first before--”

“..he does not love ..human..” she said softly and felt a stroke of pain in her chest.

“..when your father return , I’ll discus it over with him. But in the mean time you must take care of yourself..”

Ms. Tusa embrace her daughter again , and whisper smoothen words while rubbing down her back , the poor girl continue cry inaudibly as tear flooded her cheek. Ms. Tusa was bitter and sad , how dare those evil people hurt her daughter ! Prisana is the most generous person in the world , she had never complain the hardship she had endure during the time their family was in poverty because of the flood but instead suggested to work at the Nawahdee’s mansion in order to have money to save the farm . If Ms.Tuse knew that one day that decision will ruin her daughter life , she would never agreed! The tear her daughter shred today will not goes to waste . Ms. Tuse will help her daughter escape from that hell hole .

Meanwhile, Aum had return early and run down the hallway to his chamber . He swing the door open and scan the room for his puny human . She wasn’t there . He went to the kitchen and asked Oni “ ..where is Prisana..”

“ ..before she left I saw her talking with Ms. Nawahdee..”

The demon left the kitchen. And saw his mother playing the piano in the guest room . He walk in . She stop .

“..have you seen Prisana..”

She turn around , “ ..you seen to have a great interest with this girl..”

“..she is carrying my child ..”

“..is that so ? Very well then. She ask my permission to visit her parent ..”

“..and when will she come back.?..”

“..before 3pm..”

Aum turn to look at the wooden wall clock and said “ …its 3pm..” he immediately left the room and waited by the entrance door , pacing back and fore . Waiting for the door to be open and Prisana will appear . If it wasn’t for the sun he would go outside and wait by the drive way , but today he is over the limit ! He had absorb to much sunlight while running his errand and he can’t afford to go out again . He need to take a meal first -- later. Right now all he can think about is ..Prisana. The door open , he turn around with a big smile and rush toward the door

“..master..” said the driver

Aum was disappointed and signal the man to go away ! The next person came in and close the door , Aum was relief and hug her from behind . “ ..puny human..” he whisper .

Prisan turn around in his arm and stare up into his face, “ ..you back early ..”

“..why did you leave ..” he ignore her question

“..you said I can..”

“..but this morning you said you’re not going ..”

“..I change my mind..”

The demon was silent. He notice the red puff around her eye and said “ ..Prisana…have you been crying ? Why are you crying again ? You know I hate it ..” he cup her cheek and examine her face . His expression was angry

“..no…no ..dirt got in my eye ..”

“..your lying ..!..” he brought her head down on his chest and softly said “..you probable miss your parent and cry when you saw them , right ? ..”

“..yes..” her eye was getting watery again.

“..now ..now ..if you miss them you can go visit them anytime..” he said calmly and smooth the back of her hair .

Prisana couldn’t hold back the tear . Why is he so nice to her ? Does he know how much he is hurting her ? He is giving her hope again. He gently push her back and saw the tear , his thump wipe every drop and his kisses washes the tear away . The demon eye was warm and caring , her lip was trembling in despair and she saw the concern look in his face. He was confuse by her sudden sadness and caress her face with his gentle hand . She didn’t say a words nor did the demon , he simply lift her into his arm and carry her down the hallway…

CH 36

The dream was murky , fog were everywhere and it was night ..there was a lake and a white figure standing there . Prisana can only see the back side of this figure and she ask “.. who are you ? What do you want ?..” . The figure was ghostly , scary , motionless and suddenly there was a strong breeze , the figure vanish . Prisana was spinning around covering her ear from the sound of laughter , a female was laughing . The dream was frighten ! Prisana ran into the thick fog , her heart was pounding as fear washes over her and then sudden her feet was wet , she was drowning in the lake …

“..help me !!..” she screamed , still in sleeping mode while her hand reach out into the air

Aum was awoken and turn to his side , “..Prisana !..” he shook her body and then he sit up and gather her into his arm , she cling to him .

“…help me !!..”

“..im right here , right here ..” he whisper while wiping the sweat off her face and shower kisses on her forehead

She open her eyes to see the demon ‘s face very close to her . He looked worried . She said “..I was drowning ..the lady by the lake ..!!..”

“..it was just a dream ..” he assure and laid her back down , she felt his finger on her face gently pushing the hair from her forehead, smoothing it behind her ear.

“..it felt so real . There was fog everywhere and then I saw a white figure standing by the lake and then…I was drowning ..drowning into that lake ..” her voice was shaky and terrify .

“..it nothing , go back to sleep ..”

“..this is not the first time I seen her and now she is in my dream , she is trying to tell me something ..”

“..nonsense , you are thinking to much ..now hush ..” his face came down and gently blow down her eyelid ,

“..master ..” she whisper and felt the heavy weight upon her eye ,

“..close your eye..” he blow again

“..then stay close to me ..” she shut her eye and felt her body being cradle into his arm , her face was in the crook of his neck . She wanted to sleep and begin to relax . Her arm was over his chest , slowly she caress his warm flesh , feeling the strength of him and finally she rest her hand on his hip and aware her belly was press against his side . She smile , the baby is sleeping in the middle and sudden the smile turn sour .

He felt the wet of her tears against his shoulder “ ..no ..” he whisper against her ear , “ ..I hate it when you cry , hush …” his hand found her cheek and his thump brush the tear away , his lip touch her eye lid and slide downward until the tip of their nose was touching each other . His mouth move downward to capture her sweet lip and slowly devour it , he hesitate to back away but he must before his fangs appear and rest his head on the pillow

“..master..” her lip tremble while holding her cries. He play it so perfectly well , being gently and caring , he was killing her softly with his tenderness. The demon …is making it hard for her … to leave him.


“..…is there something wrong ? Tell me . I can‘t stand it when you cry and lately you seen so sad! Is it because you ..hate me…”

Prisana snuggle closer to him and didn’t say a word , nothing but silent tear rolling downward and wet his neck. The demon didn’t understand his puny human and he was angry , she probable hated him and feel trap. Yes. He had been harsh in the past but he change and try to adjust himself but it seen his effort had gone to waste ! His temper is returning and he angrily speak thru his teeth , “..black veil ..perhaps I should just sleep with other mistress in their chamber from now on . It seen as if the more I stay with you the more sad you get ! Is that what you want ? Me in other room with someone else ? Tell me …now !..”

She was tore . Hurt . Frustrated .His threat is breaking her heart . She then realize how selfish she had become …she doesn’t want him to sleep with anyone else beside her! Again he asked the question and she held her breath until she felt his body shifted , she quickly said , “ no..stay with me..”

The demon stop and return back , gathering her into his arm again with such happiness “…black veil ..nobody can replace you ..” he whisper and all his anger slip away , his mouth came down on her and she sigh against his lip.

CH 37

When she awoke , it was late afternoon . Last night the demon was lusty and demanding but he was also gentle and caring , letting her rest between sleep . She could easy tell him to stop but words couldn’t escape and she end up following his lead. The demon is indeed ..an expert on passion and he can arouse her but he doesn’t have the patient or control and always rush for release , hard and fast -- but he would never bit her ! How would he know if her body is in ecstasy or not ? Or is it because he doesn’t care ? She wanted him to bit her , taste her blood instead of having him sucking other mistress’s blood to survive or perhaps it best he doesn’t suck her after their loving making ….she doesn’t know what she want anymore! Either way it will make no difference , her feeling isn’t being return because he doesn’t care about human emotion or does he have one …it just a masking he putting on , for her to have his child .

Aum was sitting on the edge of the bed , he heard movement and turn to the side , he immediately smile at her , “ ..are you hungry ?..”

“..what time is it ?..” she sit up on the bed and pull the sheet away , her leg slide down the floor . Aum scoop closer and reach out to hold her hand , she turn to look into his deep green eye . His face was worried , brow curve upward and his smooth forehead wrinkle.

“..high noon..”

“..I over slept..”

“..after last night , you should ..”

She blush and pinch his arm . It was like an ants bit , she said “..soon my belly will be huge , will you still keep me up all night like you did ?..”

“..even if your stomach is a size of the moon , I will still crawl on top of you every night and day . Thrusting wildly into you and roar in pleasure , your body will buck and squirm and then I‘ll take you again and a--”

She silent him with a finger at his lip. The demon is talking to much …dimwit. She is turning red like the blazing sun. She sigh, “…how can said thing like that ..people can hear us ..”

He draw her hand down and lean toward her face , his tongue run across her lip …slowly and then he pull back , “ …black veil ..I hope you understand how much I need you. I had never lust after any woman in the way I did with you . I’m aware of my strength and size , if I hurt you ..”

“..you did not hurt me ..” her cheek pinken when his eye widen , she continue , “ ..it just to much , but it bearable ..”
“..good , good . It must be the late night meal I keep on feeding you ! You should eat more and gain more strength !! Get fatter !”

She giggle. He a dimwit. Just cause a vampire gain energy from human blood , he think human is the same with food ! Little did he know , it have nothing to do with it ! Passion between a man and a woman when both side is willing , have it advantage and she came to realize how wonder it is when she finally learn to accept him. Yes. He rob her virginity in such a cruel way and had cause her so much emotional pain. He a demon. A block in the head . Ignorant , loud , uncivil , temperamental and the list goes on for days -- but he also the father of her child , husband , lover , master , and in the pass couple weeks the demon had make her heart melt with his gentle care and sweeten words. He had soften up to her and give her hope of a family life with him .Prisana lean over and give him a peck on the cheek. Even though he is acting the part but she is happy that he did.

“..that’s from the baby ..” she was trying to cover her track

“..o’ really ? What about the mother ?..” he puff his left cheek and pointed at the area he wanted her to kiss.

She smile and give him another peck , “ ..that from me ..”

He chuckle and rub his hand together , licking his lip and darken his eye “ ..now it daddy turn ..” he lean his face foreword and she move off the bed , he miss and she run toward the rest room and he chase after her ! The demon caught her from behind around waist and they laugh together , she turn her head to bit his ear and he immediately release her .

“..no biting black veil!..” he said and whisper , “ ..I wasn’t in ecstasy yet ..” his smile deepen , she rush in the restroom and close the door . The demon was left outside . He laugh. He had never laugh so much in life . Only with her is when his heart is full with joy and happiness . This must be…human emotion , something he been trying to avoid all his life but now that he is experiencing it , perhaps its not as bad as he once think it were ? The demon was beginning to understand how his father must of felt when Seyla left the old man . Suddenly , the demon was afraid ..what if one day Prisana vanish into thin air ? No, he will not allow it. He can’t. He will die . Die ..if one day he woke up without her by his side.

Later that day the demon take her to meet his father at the forbidden area . Aum close the door behind them and held her hand , as the approach the large bed . The room was completely dark only candle was lit all around the room . Mr . Nawahdee was in bed breathing hoarsely , she was a bit frighten and firmly grip on to the demon hand . Aum turn to the side and nodded his head, assuring her the old man is harmless .

“ …father , I had brought Prisana to see you ..”

The old man open his eye , it was green and his wrinkle face smile “ ..she is very beautiful , so beautiful…almost ..as beautiful as..” his voice was cut short as memory of his second wife appear before his eye. There was a resemble between the two and the old man was a bit surprise by this young lady feature .

“…thank you ..” she said quietly , not sure what else to say but stare at the old man . He was extremely old ..his hair was long and completely gray unlike Ms. Nawahdee , whom look no where near her age !!

“ ..the finest blood . congratulation. my son can be a bit pain but bear with him ..”

“..yes ..master ..”

“ ..call me ..father ..”

She nodded and said , “..father..”

“..come closer , let me see your face more clearly ..”

Prisana turn to look at Aum , he nodded and she return back to Mr. Nawahdee , “..you want me to bring a candle ..”

“..no need . Just step closer ..”

She take a couple step forward and stare down on the old man , his eye was generous and kind . She smile at him . A warm feeling sprung inside of him and for the first time since he became ill , he smile . This young woman is ..special , he can sense it ..something very familiar about her smile ..as if he seen it before but with another person . His eye was forming tear and said “…you look so much like Seyla …my second wife..” his shakily hand reach out and she caught it in midair .

“..I saw her painting , she very beautiful..”

“..she was my heart and soul but now ..all that’s left is my dream of her.. ”

Prisana return his hand back and kneel beside the bed , “ ..you dream of her ?..”

“..everyday ..”

“..in your dream , how does she appear like ..”

“..she was wearing a sulky white nightgown and standing by a lake , she was beautiful under the moonlight and she was smiling at me ..” his voice was soft and tear was leaking from the corner of his eye as memory sweep in .

Prisana heart stop. Her eye bulge with terror as he stare up at him . Indeed. The lady be the lade is…Seyla , the ghost that haunt her dream and appear in the backyard in the middle of the night. “ ..she came into my dream too..” she whisper .

Mr. Nawahdee went completely still and was silent . And then he ask , “ ..do you be any chance ..related to her ..”

“..well, no but she look familiar ..”

“..my wife had one older sister , her name is Selia Wottana..”

“..that’s my mother maiden name..”

The old man was in shock and immediately push himself upward , Aum came to help his father by stacking the pillow behind his father back, “ ..please , can you ask your mother where is Seyla ?!..” his face lift and hearty said , “..have you ever saw your aunt before ? I mean …had she ever visit you when you were younger ??..”

“..My mother never mention she had a sister . And I have never saw her or perhaps I was to young to remember ..”

Mr.Nawahdee ‘s heart lift with joy and said “..does this mean ..she still alive ?!..” he was gasping for air at the thought she might be alive but-- then his smile drop and sadly said , “..who im kidding ..she is dead . Why else would she visit me only in dream ? We love each other so…much , she will never be that cruel to make me suffer for over 20 years…in grief . In dead or alive she will find a way to come back to me ..” he softly cry and push himself back down on the bed

“..I’ll ask my mother the next time I visit her ..”

“..thank you ..” he turn to the side and shudder in despair . Aum pull the sheet over the old man . Prisana rose from the floor and follow Aum out the chamber . They can still hear the master whimpering from outside the door , they walk down the hallway . Prisana couldn’t help but wonder why her mother never mention about her sister ? Is there something her mother is hiding ? If indeed Seyla is her aunt ..that’s mean ..her mother know about ..vampire ?

“..you still thinking about what my father said ?..” Aum asked

“..well, Selia Wottana is my mother name ..is it possible ..”

“..I really don’t remember much about my father second wife . Even though I was around 12 - 13 years old at the time . But I remember how insane my father went when she disappear ..” Aum stop and reach out to grab her arm , he turn her around ,

“ ..yes ? What is it ?..” she asked while searching his green eye .

“..promise me …black veil. Never leave me ..promise me now !..”

She hesitated. Her heart sink. His face is full of angry mix with sorrow. Tear stung her eye and said “..I promise..”

He smile and embrace her tightly in his arm , burying his head into the crook of her neck , he whisper “..you are mine…forever..”

Rina was watching them from behind a wall , her nail claw the wall angrily and she violently turn away and march back into her chamber . Once inside she flung her arm across the dressing table , knocking all the cosmetic thing to the floor. The servant came into the room and Rina shouted “ ..go away you bitch !..” . The servant run out the room . Le walk pass the frighten servant and heard crushing noise from one of the mistress chamber , she walk toward the open door and poke her head inside .

“ ..get out !..”

The pillow flew across the floor and landed by Le’s feet , “ ..what kind of drug you been using ?..”

Rina turn to the voice and smirked , “ ..o’ it you ... Ms. Clown ..”

“..hey to you too Ms. Witch..” Le snapped and saw the anger expression on Rina ‘s face.

“ ..get out !!..”

“..sorry to intrude your moment of happiness..” Le giggle .

“ ..are you laughing at me ? !!.” her eye bugle

“…there only two of us ? Who else you think I might be talking to ? ..”

Rina screamed. Le cover ear and walk out.

The scream was heard thru out the hallway , Prisana pull herself away and turn toward the voice , and said “ ..that was madam’ Rina ..” .

Then Le appear from around the corner still covering her ear and saw the couple , she drop her hand to the side and said , “ ..no wonder ..” she giggle

“…what do you mean ? ..” Prisana asked .

“…Rina had always been the jealous one among all the mistress . Young master should know that ..” Le turn to look at the demon and playfully smile , he look the other way ..trying to pretend he doesn’t understand the meaning behind her comment. Prisana was aware of his sudden silent and wonder what he thinking . Le then said , “ ..well, I’ll be on my way now ..” she laugh before walking away . Everyone know the young master enjoy making love to Rina than all of his mistress because ..the witch is actually good in bed. Therefore , there are many time the young master will have to put up with her mood swing and this wasn’t the first time Rina throw a trauma !!

Prisana watch Le leave and then back to the demon , she saw the uneasiness look on his face and said , “ ..you should pay more attention to your other mistress. They have feeling --”

“ ..I do not care about them ..”

“..but they are your wives , you should at least talk to them. Specially ..madam’ Rina ..”

“ ..I admit . Rina is ..” he clear his throat and said quickly “ ..a good lover and I enjoy her ..” he saw the change in her face and added “ ..but since you came along I no longer seek pleasure from anyone else ..”

Prisana was ..happy but at the same time felt guilty , Rina or the other 24 mistress must of hated her and felt abandon by the demon. Perhaps she is too selfish and kept the demon to herself for to long , she should be considerate of other people feeling . And with that in mind , she said “..it ok ..if you want to sleep with other mistress beside me ..”

“..are you sure ?..”

“..yes..” she said quietly , almost unheard

“..can I start tonight ?..” he smile with delight , he only meant to tease her . Black veil is the only woman for him . He have a surprise for her , he can't tell her yet but when its finish ..she will be surprise. When that day come , he will be the happiness demon alive..

Her eyelash dart . She didn’t expect him to be so thrill so sudden ! He could had waited a couple more days! She didn’t reply and turn around to walk the other way . If he doesn't come into their chamber tonight , the next night she going lock him out ...forever. Tomorrow she will return home and ask her mother about Seyla . Then discuss about her ...escape plan. Suddenly , she felt sad again. Leaving ..after she just made a promise with the demon , is tearing her apart. But if she stay , she a fool ! The worst mother alive ! She can not abandon her child. Just the thought alone is killing her .

The demon lie. That night he stay in their chamber and refuse to go anywhere , no matter how much Prisana pleaded for him to leave , “ …you should at least sleep with one of them ..anyone of them , I do not want them to think I’m holding you back or being selfish ..” . She came around the bed and pull the sheet down , fluff the pillow and then she turn to look at him standing by the door . He was in his robe , arm cross , lip thin and fang appear . It either he is mad or arouse , she can tell by the rising for his chest ..the demon is ..indeed ..arouse.

“..I’m use to sleeping with you now ..” he spread his arm wide open and waited for her to come forward .

She didn’t move but stare at him , “ ..not tonight , I’m not in a mood..” she said softly , her cheek blush and move on the bed , going under the cover , she pull the sheet up toward her chin and the demon drop his arm -- disappointed and the fangs retreat .

“..You are the reason for me to hold back ..”

“..I just told you it…ok..”

“..Really? The other night you said for me to stay..”

“..I-I…well…right now its difference . I do not want to make enemy with your mistresses ..”

“..I do what ever I please and sleep with whom ever I want..”

She turn to the side and rest on her hands , she watch him pace the room “..you should be considerate of their feeling ..”

He stop and cross his arm , “..if you tell me to go suck their blood , sure I’ll go but this you tell me to sleep with them. What kind of wife are you ?..”

“..wife?..” she was shock and asked “..since when was am your wife ?..”

“..ever since you became mine..”

“..if im your wife then wouldn’t all those mistress your wife too?..”

“..I do not consider them as my wife , you are the mother of my child and that make you my wife..”

She laugh softly. “ ..we’re not even married , im no difference than a mistress or a secret lover ..” she stop laugh. They are not married . She had no right on him and their child will be… illegitimate.

“..My father was never married . He simply give a title to my mother…”

“..what about your grandparent and so on ? ..”

“..when I came into this world , I never seem my other relative beside my mother and father . I seen picture and painting of them but never meet them in person. A vampire had to breed with human to produce , our human relative keep their distance from us and we do the same with them..”

“..what about vampire relative ?..”

“..Those that are vampire , their children might be human and the line end from there , it rare to be born as a vampire but the chances are still there , my father had told me before that I have vampire cousin but they are dead and bury in the cemetery. .. ”

“…how did they die ?

“...accident ..we are not immoral , we can get kill..”

“..this mean , our child will have to breed with human ..”

“..if she or he want to have children, yes ..”

“..if our child is human and marry a human will she or he have vampire children ? ..”

“..no, only if he or she breed with a vampire and the child is either completely human or vampire . If our child are human and breed with another human it impossible to have a baby vampire . It doesn’t work that way . .” he laugh.

“..stop laughing, how was I suppose to know. You are…difference . I wish to know more about vampire …”

“..why ?..”

“..because our child is a vampire , as a mother I should know what to expect ..right ?..”

“…I’m not going anywhere . I’ll be right here if you have any question. We will raise our child together..”

Then her eye watered. She was going to cry ! She had to be stronger than this , but he sound so sincere and those word touches her heart o’ so dearly. What had he done to her ? Why is it so painful to hate him now , when before just the sight of his face disgusted her and now ..it difference so difference. The demon must had cast a spell on her! Her voice was sad , “ ..does ..baby vampire.. need to be ..breast feed..” she try to maintain her calm image but the demon sense her vulnerable by the tone of her voice ..as if she was sobbing inside. He approach the bed and sit down on the edge.

“..yes , they do ..”

“..what about blood ? ..”

“..a drop of human blood is needed once a week ..and during ..the full moon..” he became silent.

“..during the … full moon..”

“..every full moon all vampire transform themselves into their true form , you can leave the room and come back within 15 minute if you want..”

“..what if I stay ?..”

“..nothing will happen beside seeing our child’s demon form , can you handle that ? You might get frighten ..”

“..never ! ..”

He smile. “…were you scar of my demon form ?..”

“..Y-yes. Very much..”

“..our child will look some what like that but in smaller size ..”

“..does a vampire have to drink blood from the opposite sex ?..”

“..Yes. If not then the blood will have no effect on the vampire..”

“..c-can a vampire suck their human ..parent blood..”

“..no…they can’t ..the child will die instantly ..”

She gasp. “..t-then…does that mean I can’t be round the baby ?..”

“…the baby will not bit you ..”

“..but you said ..”

“..baby vampire does not born with already fang growing out of their mouth ..”

“ ..then how will the child suck blood ?..”

“.. only a drop is needed every week for infant and those drop we have to insert it in the baby’s mouth and the blood will dissolve itself . The child won’t be able to have fangs until the age of 18. They will not go around biting people..”

“..really ? Then how will the kid draw blood from human with no fangs ?..”

The demon move up the bed and laid beside her , facing each other , he said “ …their nail , it will appear sharper when they are hungry and then they can use it for their advantage ..”

“..use it to cut thru the skin ?..”

“..yes or claw the skin , all they need is a few drop and they can lick it off the nail..”

“..just a few drop ? Then why do u drink so much !..”

“..as vampire grown into an full adult their body will need more strength and it also depend on how much power were drain under direct sunlight . I only feed once or twice a week and not more than a tea spoon of human blood each time . We vampire only drink what is necessary to survive and we can get full ..a tea spoon will make me burp , we are not blood thirsting demon like the one you read from a book or novel, beside human hardly feel the wound we puncture and within sec those mark will disappear..”

“..what about food ? Is it necessary ..”

“..we can eat , taste , enjoy it and we can get fat from it but food is not necessary , we can survive without ever eating and just live on blood alone…”

“..is that unhealthy ?..”

“…without food our body can live on but we will look unhealthy , skinny ..ghostly …scary …”

“..that’s not good . I want our child to be big and healthy just--

“…just like daddy ..” he grin

“…you are too big !..”

“..it because you are to petite !..”he reach out and took her hand in his , licking it .

She pull out and frown, “..I told you , I’m not in a mood. We still talking ..”

“..enough with talking ..” he reach out again and gather her into the crook of his arm , she slip her arm cross his belly while he cuddle her .

“..now what ..”

“..is it true that ..all vampire is born during a full moon and immediately after delivery ..the child will transform and draw the first human blood they see..”

“..it’s true that all vampire is born during a full moon but I never heard about ..the child will draw blood from the first human they see while in their transformation , if that’s the case …you can not be in the same room after delivery . Your blood will kill our child . Because of our nature to transform during that time , woman are not allow to give birth at the hospital..”

“..that’s mean , I have to give birth at …home ?..”

He nodded his head and held her tightly, kissing her forehead and said “..but don’t worry ..I’ll take care of you . I’ll be there by your side . I promise . I already call the midwife to stay at the west wing and after you delivery the doctor will be call to attend your care …”

She was sad . What Ms. Nawahdee said were ..true then , it make scent for her to leave and the child is to be kept under their care because blood from the human parent will kill the child instantly --- but the demon had promise to take care of her ? Is those lie ? Or is it sweet words to calm her worries ? But he said they will raise the child together ! He can’t possibly abandon her ! She was giving herself hope again … no , he only doing this because he need her to give birth to his child . Ms. Nawahdee is his mother ..of course her wishes will have to come first! Prisana ! Prisana! Do not be a fool . The demon is after three thing …her body , her blood and her child ..not her love . She burst into tear and softly cry onto his chest.

“..master..” she mummer

“..black veil..” he whisper into her ear while his hand fell to her face , his fingers trace the cheekbones and he felt the tear , his heart ace, twisting into a knot . He tilt her face upward so their eye are meet and said , “ ..if you are crying because you are afraid of child birth , I can assure you with my life ..I’ll be there to hold your hand and wipe the sweat off your face and kiss all your pain away ..but if you are crying because you do not want me or our child ..please ..lie to me ..please..” his eye was soft and pleading while searching her face for answer , why lately his puny human seen to cry every time they are together and he was afraid ..afraid of her answer but ..why…why haven’t she figure out how much she mean to him.

She was choking in tear and said , “ …I want our child..”

He sigh and smile . It was all he need . He lean forward, his hand lifting her hair and he kiss her throat , running his tongue along the side of her neck. She didn’t move or make a sound but held her breath. He sit up, lifting her hips and pull the night grown to her waist , then tug it over her head -- she was completely nude . He came down to laid beside her , and then stroke her hair from her forehead to the back of her ear , he whisper “..you are so beautiful, let me pleasure you ..”

“…what if I say ..no ?..”

His green eye glow and lean over her , pressing his chest against her breast . He close his eye to feel the warmth of her body , “…I do what ever I please ..now be still, our child is probable sleeping ..” he kiss her chest and leave wet trail of his tongue.

“…how can anyone get any sleep ..” she mutter and close her eye to feel his lip.

The demon didn’t waste any time , in matter of minute his robe was toss to the floor and he was deep inside of her and deeper until she was breathless and exhausted , she slid her arm around his back , then upward to running her finger into the back of his hair as …if she was encouraging he continue ..harder. He raise his head and stared down at her . He saw the blush on her cheek and her arm tighten around his back . His fangs appear as pleasure take over and roar like a lion.

The next morning the demon left early like before but this time he left alone and before he leave , the demon strictly tell Tai to drive Prisana to the farm and back home in one pieces ! Once she reach the farm it was still early in the morning and her parent had just breakfast , Tai insist on staying in the car till it time to go home. They discuss about her pregnancy and Prisana was cheerful while telling her parent how naughty the child is ..moving inside not stop during the full moon . The parent was baffle , their daughter is not even 4months yet but she talking as if she is 8 months!

Mr. Tusa interrupted , “ ..your mother said you want to leave ..”

Prisana became silent. Her smile ended. Ms. Tusa turn to her husband and said “ ..it probable best if I just talk to her …”

“..female can understand each other better , alright. I’ll leave you two ..” Mr. Tusa rise from the chair and exit .

They waited until he left . Prisana then said , “..had father found a place I can stand ?..”

“..yes , at his friend house on the other side of the river but ..do you really want to leave him ? ..”

“..I have no choice. Any mother in my position will do the same thing ..”

“..dear , it just can’t bear for my grandchild to be ..fatherless..”

“..but the child will still have me ..”

“ ..and the grandparent . Just tell us when you are ready ..”

Prisana rose and move to sit beside her mother , they embrace , “ thank ..you..”

“..anything that will make you happy , we’re happy ..”

“..there something ..I want to ask you ..”

Ms. Tusa pull back and ask , “..what is it ?..”

“..do you have a sister name ..Seyla ..”

Ms.Tusa’s face was colorless and quickly rose . She clasp her hand together and pace back and fore. Prisana watch her mother silently and then finally the old lady said “…she was my younger sister..” her voice was shakily and her eye was worries , hesitating .

“..you never told me about my aunt..”

“..how did you know ??!..”

“..the young master’s father said his second wife name is Seyla..”

“…o’my lord..” Ms. Tusa gasp and smooth her face with her hand , and said “..I was afraid this day will come ..” she being quietly “…Seyla is ..your real mother ..”

Prisana didn’t want to believe it . All those years ! , “ ..then ..that make you..”

“..your aunt ! But we love you ..just like our owe ! Your mother said for us to hide it from you..”

“..why ? where is she !!..”

“..I do not know . Seyla had left home for 3 years , claiming to have a job somewhere in town then one night she came home and handed you to me . She was crying and make me swear to never reveal the secret and then she left . From that day on she had never return ..”

Prisana was about to faint, this mean ..her real father is ..Mr. Nawahdee but what about the young master ? Is it possible they share the same father ? Her head was spinning in totally darkness. She didn’t make a sound , just let the tears gathers up , and slip down her cheek . What had happen to her real mother then ? Why did she abandon her ? Then all those time when she saw a white figure by the lake or in her dream , was actually her mother trying to make contact ? Was she murder ? Where did she disappear too ? So many question but no answer. ..

CH 40

It was dark, there was no moon , no star to bright the sky . Rain begin to pour and outside was thick with fog . Prisana had return to the mansion and went straight to her chamber , she had laid on the bed for hours , sobbing and thinking. The truth was painful , for over 20 years she had been living with her aunt and uncle ..thinking they’re her real parent but it turn out they were not. Prisana is a mix breed , her father is a vampire and her mother is human ! She did not want to tell her aunt about Ms. Nawahdee or about her birth mother was one of his mistress , she need time to find out the truth first !

According to Ms. Tosu , her sister had left home for 3 years and return with a child . At the time Seyla had never explain what happen to her in the years she had been missing , she simply came home one night and abandon her child with her older sister but a couple days later there was a letter send to Ms. Tosu and from that point on , Seyla was never heard from again . Prisana sit up and wipe the tear from her cheek, she slowly unfold the aging letter and start reading …

Dear sister ,

I had fell in love with a man , he is difference but we love each other regardless. I had left my child with you because I fear she might be endanger if stay with me . I want to return back to him alone .I want to know the truth from his lip and afterward , I will come back for my child .If I do not return back , my life had been taken away from me. Please take care of my child . Raise her as your own . Do not tell her about me. Eraser my name from the family book if you must!

Tear drop on the letter . Prisana close her eye to shut it off . The man her mother love is her father , and she probable return back to him but …something happen to her because Mr. Nawadee said his second wife disappear into thin air . At the time her mother is probable aware of the danger she was in but ..from whom or what ? Then another question rise . If indeed she is Mr. Nawahdee….long lost daughter than she and the young master is ..half sibling! She felt a knot in her throat . They had sinned. The thunder roar . The door swing open and the demon came in , his clothes was wet and dripping .

“..I would of came faster if it haven’t rain , how was your patent?..” he went into the rest room . She heard his clothes being strip and toss . He walk out nude and open the closet , he pull out a robe and slip in . He turn around and saw the black veil starring at him with sad eye , red eye , watery eye…she had been crying . He asked , “ ..what wrong ?..”

“..I wishes to have my old room back..”

“..why..”

“..there no reason , please ..”

The demon was angry . Flame lit his eye and fangs appear . He felt like a fool . For months he had restrain himself from losing his temper and was patient with her , give her time to accept him and he soften up to her . But it seen all his work had gone to waste ! She probable hated him ! Why else would she ask to return back to her own room ? He was disorientated…and hurt ! Human…! Damn ..human!! He shouted “ ..did I displease you ?!! I had ask you many time not to cry in front of me! You are disgusted by me …right ?! Answer me !!!..”

She shook her head violently and bit down her lip as tear continue to flow. She does not hate or disgusted by him but she have her reason. They can not stay in the same room together . They are related by their father. She will not tell him until she know the truth what had happen to her mother. The demon is mad at her . He waited for her reply and grow bitter at each passing moment . The rain outside became heavy , banging against the window and they can hear the thunder roar . Prisana stare into his green eye , she want to believe he is hurt but the thought was vanish when he said “..if that is want you want . Get out ! Get out of my chamber now !! I can replace you with any of my mistress !!! Get out now !!..” he pointed at the door and her heart throb in pain at the sight of his cold eye . She move off the bed and gather her strength to run out the door while tear was splashing down her sad face but the demon did not see her pain because his head was turn the other way , trying to hold back his own tear . His heart had be stab by the black veil , she didn’t have a knife but he felt it when she left him ..

Prisana return back to the servant house and went into her old room . It was cold and dark inside . She walk toward the window and look out into the rain , the lake where the white figure stand . Prisana thought about the demon and his cold words , tear was impossible to hold back . He had clearly said it . I can replace you with any of my mistress !!! . He had broken her heart . Now there is even more reason for her to leave him . They can not be together . After she found out the truth about her mother disappearance , she will leave ..yes she will leave . Then slowly , she lightly touch her stomach . She was showing , the mount was visible and in the matter of months the child will be here . She rest her head on the glass window and tremble in despair . The father of her child no longer wanted her . She was no difference than all of his mistress.

The next morning the rain stop and the sky was clear , the forestry was still wet and the grass was still slippery when Prisana went outside and walk across the landscape toward the lake. It was like spell binding her mind to go there and search for answer . The early bird was chirping and the wind was soft breezing , the lake was mythical in full view . She had came here before but at night when she was still a servant and had swam in the lake . In daylight the scenery is even more enchanting ! There was willow tree , cheery bushes and beautiful wild flower grow alone the shoreline. She walk around the lake until she came to a half bridge and walk on the platform , she reach the end of it and look down into the dark water . She stood there in utterly silent and listen to the sound of nature. The gentle breeze blow her hair into a wave and she close her eye to feel the cool air . There was a whisper …so low it was almost unheard . “..the circle..” . Prisana being to talk as if there a person presence , “..what circle..?..” . The voice keep repeating “..the circle..” . She open her eye and turn around , scanning the area as her heart pound . She was scar and terrify by the ghostly feeling -- perhaps it her mother trying to make contact ? Does sprite exist ? It possible . Even vampire exist why can’t ghost ? She walk off the bridge and someone was coming her way ,

“..madma’ Rina ..”

“…good , you still remember me !..”

“…is there something you want me to do for you ? ..”

“..I follow you here because I want to talk in private ..”

“ ..yes ? ..”

“…so , is the rumor true . you no longer sleep in the young master ‘s chamber ..” Rina look down at the servant stomach and snorted. News travel fast in the mansion because the servant that clean the young master chamber had secretly gossip about Prisana disappearance from the room and other had saw Prisana coming out of the servant’s room early this morning .

“..how did you know ? ..”

“..the young master told me ..” she lied and was please with the sudden shock expression on the servant ‘s face , Rina then said “ ..I was in his room last night and he complain about how dull you were . He said you were …annoying and he want someone who understand his need..”

“..he said that ? …” Prisana was lost . When they were together she had never object to his passion and was willing to be seduce by him. She had completely give herself to him because he was the father of her child and the only person she would allow to touch her . Now , that the demon is mad and had grown tire of her . He had return to the cold and heartless ..demon she once knew but even though he is upset with her , he should at least had waited a couple days to bed another mistress but this ..as soon as she left him last night he found another replacement ! All those sweet talks and promises he make was clearly a ..lie! His mother is right . She a fool . Perhaps it fate for her to found out they share the same father and she was able to pull her heart out before it was to late , but even after knowing how inconsiderate he is -- she miss him.

“..I had known him longer than you . There only two thing he need from us . Blood and body . In your case ..his child. How far are you ? You should get packing soon ..right ?” Rina smile amusedly

Prisana couldn’t bear to hear it anymore and quickly walk pass the mistress , she can hear the laugher from behind . Le was in the garden when Prisana walk right pass her . Le rose and turn to catch her upper arm , “ ..whoa , not so fast ..missy ..”

Prisana turn around and hug her , tear pour out of her pity eye. Le was starlet and drop the flower she was holding to the ground , she rub up and down the servant’s back and said , “ ..alright , go ahead and cry all you want ....”

“..madam’ Le..” she was sobbing and then pull away , wiping the tear and said “ ..im sorry ..”

“..it an old dress anyway..”

Prisana smile. Le held her hand and they walk inside together . There was several mistress walking pass them and everyone of them stare at Prisana and then giggle . Everyone had heard about the demon throwing Prisana out of his chamber in the middle of night . Le turn to her and said , “ …just ignore them ..”

“…I deserve to be laugh at ..” she said sadly .

“..everything will be alright . He will come to his sense ..”

“..he doesn’t want me anymore ..”

“..don’t be silly , the young master adore you ..”

“ ..it because im carrying his child..”

“..trust me, the young master is crazy about you . Lets go to the library . Perhaps reading will get your mind off your problem ..”

They went to the library . Inside were bookcases that reach all the way to the ceiling and at the end is a roll ladder . The room was being repair because there was crack on the wall and some bookshelves was broken and leaning against other shelve. Prisana wonder why the room look as if a storm just take place and turn to ask , “ ..what happen in here ?..”

Le stare at her and then laugh, “ ..the young master rampage thru it ..”

“..why ? ..”

“..this was back a couple months ago when you run off ..”

“..he was that angry ? ..” her eye widen and scan the room again , the demon is indeed strong!!

“..like a wild beast ! He broke nearly everything in the house !..”

Prisana blink . Did she really had that much impact on him ? She run off he destroy the house , if she do again ..will he kill ? “…it in his nature to be this aggressive ..”

“…are you kidding ? He is cold and aloof . Yes. But he had never been this destructed until you came along. He never go crazy like this when I left . In the future do not leave him again …” Le pause and then jokily said , “ ..he might end up killing all 25 of us !..”

Prisana gasp. “..is he capable of …killing ?..”

“..you go ahead and run , then we‘ll see ..” Le smile and walk away to looking thru the volume of book that was on the shelve while humming a sweet tone to herself .Prisana follow her and goes thru a series of book , looking for anything interesting . Then she came across a huge volume and slide it out from between the books , she carry it to the desk and place it down , there was a picture of a white moon . She read the title “..the circle..” and flip inside , there was page that been rip off and inside contain collected poems . She skim thru it and flip thru some more pages , then she stop. In between the page was a folded paper , she pull it out and read “..To Seyal..” she gasp. That her mother name ! She put the paper back inside and close the book , then turn to Le and said , “ ..I-I found a book to read now ..I'm going back to my room !..” she didn’t want for Le to reply and quickly left . Le poke her head out and saw the door close.

Prisana grasp the huge book against her chest and fast walk down the hallway , “ ..the circle..” she murmured. Perhaps this is a clue ? Her heart was pounding . The circle image she saw on the window and the whisper voice at the lake , was all pointing to this book !! Without aware of it she had walk pass the young master chamber and the door was not shut , she pause . There was moaning sound coming from the room . She was afraid to turn back and take another step forward but she stop again when the sound continue. She turn around and slowly poke her head inside , she saw the demon laying on the bed with Rina on top … straddling him . She was caressing his bare chest and motion her hip up and down . Prisana watch with tear in her eye and she felt her heart winch . He had found the…replacement ..just as he had said he will. She can see the demon arm reach up to slide the gown off Rina’s shoulder and then he was caressing her stomach and arm . Prisana turn away and stood there with her back against the wall, she silently cry . It not the first time she had came across this scene but back then she didn’t felt anything but now her feeling is difference from before.

She lock the door to her room and sat down on the mattress , she place the book on her lap and flip to the page where she insert the letter , “ ..To Seyla ..” she read and unfold the paper ,

The master had found out about the affair . We must run away together ! Meet me by the lake on the next full moon . I do not wish to leave my child but my life is threaten . They are ..demon and can’t be trusted . Remember ..the next full moon by the lake , I’ll be waiting for you . Please come !!

Teerapat

“…who is Teerapat..?” she was puzzle and set the letter to the side and flip thru the book , why is there so many rip out pages ? Perhaps someone wanted to mark the book . But who ? The lake . She had seen the white figure standing by the lake . Something happen there and her mother was vanish . And did her mother had an affair with this ..man ? If she did , there a possibility she is not Mr. Nawahdee’s daughter ? Was she a produce of adultery ? Prisana was confuse ..lost ..not sure anymore if she should go back to the demon or stay away from him !! Suddenly , there was a knock on the door . Prisana quickly gather up everything and hide the book in the closet . She went to open the door .

“..Nana..”

“..once a servant ..will always be a servant ! Now that you are back , there are chores need to be done !..”

“..what are you talking about , I’m --” Prisana pause. She had return back to the servant’s house but she still the young master mistress and carrying his child . This woman have no right to treat her like before unless …the young master had order Nana to do so ? Is it possible ? Never. He is not that heartless…or could he ?

“..I was told by the young master himself . From this day foreword you are to return to your old duty ..”

“ ..I’ll go talk to him --

“ ..He is busy with madam’ Rina and from now on you are not allow to eat at the table..”

Prisana was speechless . Yes. He is busy . She had saw it with her own bare eye. The demon is mad at her but he doesn’t have to treat her like this . Nana smirk and roll her eye. Prisana was hurt and felt humiliated. His punishment is heartless , if he no longer want her at least think about their child. If this is what he want she will tolerate it and after she found out the truth behind her mother disappearance , then she will leave . He had give her enough reason to. Nana snap her finger and a servant appear , holding a pile of dirty laundry and drop it on the floor . The two walk away laughing while Prisana stood there watching them and back to the clothes on the floor.

The next couple weeks Prisana was order around by Nana nonstop . The old hag enjoy the sweet torture and pray the new servant will leave the mansion ! Rina secretly applause Nana for a job well done . They hated Prisana and had came up with a plan to make her suffer from over work and finally leave ! Priana only have time to eat a short lunch because during the early morning she have to do laundry and help out in the kitchen , Nana make sure there isn’t a moment for Prisana to rest until late afternoon. The demon was never home in the morning and always return late at night even his mother had grown suspicious , she even wonder why Prisana return back to be a servant and no longer join the table with all the other mistress . Ms. Nawahdee had ask Nana not to over work Prisana became after all she is carrying a child but Nana insist on saying “ ..madam’ she wishes to keep herself busy , I had already warn her ..”

“..if that’s the case , just be sure she do light chores . My grandchild is more important . My son is probable bore with her.. ”

“..he had been showing great interest with Rina ..”

“..human is all the same to him . Pleasure and a meal ..”

Ms. Nawahdee dismiss the servant and went into her chamber . A man appear in the dark corner and said, “ ..I have good news ..”

She walk across the room and sat down on the bed , she reach over and turn the lamp on . The light was dim and lit only half of the room , she scoop herself to the middle of the bed and laid on her side with one elbow to support her self and reply , “ ..what is it ..”

“..I found the master ’s lost daughter ..”

Ms.Nawahdee lift a brow and ask , “ ..where is she ?..”

“..apparently , she one of the young master ..mistress..”

“..don’t tell me ..it ..her !!..”

“..Prisana..”

She sit up and calmly said , “ ..the world is indeed small. All these years …of searching and she was right under our nose after all . Are you sure it her ? ..”

“..Seyla have one older sister and I found out she was living at a local farm 2 hours from here . The daughter had no birth record and the older sister had no record of giving birth either . I’m quite positive the child belong to Seyla ..”

“..that bitch is smart for leaving her child with relative ..”

“..do you want me to get rid of her ? ..”

“…NO! She is carrying my grandchild! Leave her alone! I warn you …Teerapat!..”

“ ..yes ‘s madam..”

“..that girl is valuable , she had the finest blood to produce an heir for my son . The child she carrying is a vampire. Rare but possible to conceive. My husband will be thrill if he knew his daughter is still alive …”

“..will you tell him ..”

“..never! He betrayed me and in turn I will do the same ..”

The man move on the bed and slid down beside her , “..will you take your meal now or later ?..”

She smile and said , “ ..good human ..”

He close his eye and let her fangs sink into his flesh. Rina had been eavesdropping from the other side of the door . She saw a mysterious man larking around in the back entrance and decided to follow him and saw him disappear into this room . This was not the first encounter of this affair ! Rina had always been suspicious of Ms. Nawahdee ’s unchanging beauty and now it clearly make scent ..she a vampiress!! The young master is not the head master biologic child but Prisana is ?! With this information in hand , Rina smile wickedly and thought of another plan to make the young master belong to her ..forever ! She plan to make a bargain with Ms. Nawadee ..

Meanwhile , Prisana was outside under the blazing sun hand washing bed sheets . There was several bucket of soak clothes scatter all around and more in the basket . Usually , there are more than one servant to help out with the chores but Nana strictly order Prisana to finish it all by high noon. She was exhausted and her finger blistered. Since dawn she had not eaten or drink .

“..Prisana ! ..” cries Le , walking toward her with a basket of flower . She had been in the garden and Oni came to told her about the old hag making Prisan do all the chores in the house . Le was flamed and came over to see it for herself.

“..madam Le..” said Prisana and look up into the sun .

“..dear lord . You look pale !! Had you eaten yet ?..”

“..not yet..” she said weakly , then rose up but was to tire to stand and nearly fall to the ground if Le haven’t catch her on time .

“..you should be in bed ! Had the young master gone mad ? Or he been drinking bad blood lately ! Dear lord , come on . I’ll take you back to your room ..” Le grab one of her arm and swing it over her head and said , “ …if I were you , damn ..I’ll yank his fangs out for this !!..” Le carry the servant girl back to the west wing and goes into her room , she slowly place her on the mattress .

“..water ..”

“..hold on , I’ll go get it real quick ..” Le left the room and return back within minute with a glass of water and a bowl of water. She help Prisana up and hand the glass of water to her . Prisana drink it all in one gulp, then she laid back down and Le unbutton the blouse and use the wet towel to cool down her skin . The poor girl was soak in sweat !

“..thank you ..”

“..Nana had gone over board with this ! Im telling the young mater !..”

“..no need..”

“..why ? Is he even aware of this ? Is this how he treat the mother of his child !..” Le continue to wash her arm and face with the wet clothes.

“..this is what he wanted , he want to punish me ..”

“ ..For what ? What did you do wrong ?..”

“..I upset him. I refuse to stay in the same room with him ..”

“..that all ? Hell! Then this is to much !..”

Prisana eye begin to water. The pass weeks she had not seen the demon nor had he make any attempt to see her ! How could he be so distant and aloof! If he care ..just a little bit , he would check on her and perhaps he will know what kind of hardship his servant had force upon her but this .. he didn’t bother ! Prisana said softly while holding back her tear “ ..he doesn’t want me any more ..”

“..now that is not true , he ador--

“..do not mention his name anymore . I do not want to hear it. ..” she turn to the side and bury her face into the pillow to silent her cry . She want to know the truth about her mother disappearance and then she will leave but now she not sure anymore . The longer he avoid seeing her the more hurt she is .

The door swing open and Oni rush inside , “ ..madam !..”

Le turn to look up at the servant and said , “ ..what is it now Oni. Can you see im busy ..”

“..Ms. Nawahdee had just announce to all the servant that the young master will marry madam’ Rina by the end of this month !!..”

“..what ?!..” Le rose up and stare at the servant and said , “ tell me again what just happen ? ..”

“..a wedding between the young master and Rina !!..”

“..the witch got her wish ..” Le was shock

CH 43

Prisana and Le was outside when Tai struck the bell on the top tower, so they miss the meeting and Oni rush to tell them when it was over . When ever the bell is rung this mean all the servant must gather up in the east wing and Ms. Nawahdee had made an announcement , that the young master will marry Rina and the wedding will be held by the end of this month. Everyone was shock and some of the mistresses was angry ! They demand answer ! The demon was not home to wittiness the uproar among his mistresses . Ms. Nawahdee refuse to answer any question and told them to accept it ! She then went back to her chamber and slam the door . Rina was sitting on the bed , leg cross with a look of satisfaction on her face !

“..there ! Are you happy now ? ..”

Rina smile and said , “ ..thank you very much , mother ..”

“..I hope you keep your side of the bargain ..”

“..I will not reveal the secret to the young master, even though he should know the truth ..about his real father ..”

“..shut up !! Unless you want your life cut short !..”

“..you wouldn’t dare ! I’ll expose your secret ! I wonder how will the young mater react , to find out his mother is really a…vampiress and had an affair with a human man . O’ ..lets not forget about...Prisana. I’m sure the head master will be thrill to find his long lost daughter ..” Rina grin wickedly

“…we already made a deal ..”

“..but you haven’t make him agreed yet ..”

“..Aum will agreed…”

“..how can you be so sure ? ..”

“..I know his weakness. He will agreed..”

Rina smile and move off the bed , “ ..then , the secret will die with me ..” she left the room . Ms. Nawahdee turn around and stare at the close door , she was angry and fangs appear . The man was still in the room and said , “ ..you want me to get rid of her ..”

“..no, her father is in law enforcement . It to risky..”

“..will the young master agreed ..”

“..it just a simple wedding. It does not hold any significance toward him nor will it make any difference . For Human and their emotion , marriage is something to be cherish but for my son , it nothing . I will let her win this game but if she continue to play by the same rule , I will not stand aside and let a human control me.. ”

“…human or vampire , we all share the same emotion..”

“..what are you blabbering about ..”

“..the young master is not …emotionless …”

“..one day had turn into a life time . Your husband had it better than me , at least the woman he love had cherish him when she was alive but for me ..alive or dead it mean nothing to you ..”

“..Yes. I’m a fool ..” he said softly and walk toward the door, he turn around but she turn the other way . There was saddens in his face when he left the room. The door was close and Ms. Nawahdee turn back , she had known this man for over 30 years . He had always been there for her when she needed his blood to survive , she had hide the secret from her son and made everyone believe she a human .

Only Mr. Nawahdee and Nana know she a vampiress ! Ms. Nawahdee and the head master are cousin ! They had fall in love with each other at a very young age and live together as lover . As years gone by , Mr. Nawahdee wanted an heir and she could not conceive but to make him happy she had hire 50 mistresses . During those time she was hurt to see her own husband in an arm of another woman . She understand it was the only way to produce a child because vampire can only breed with human . But as time goes by she became jealous and decided to get herself pregnant by another man so he will stop sleeping around . When Mr. Nawahdee found out he was furious ! And hated her ! But the child was born . He adore the little vampire and finally accept him as his own . She decided to amend her infidelity by allowing him to continue sleeping with other woman to produce his own biologic child -- but she didn’t expect him to fall in love with a ..human !!! Ms. Nawahdee close her eye to shut out the painful memory .

It was around midnight when the demon return home but instead of going to his bedchamber , he decided to visit the servant house . Everyone was asleep and his foot step was light , making sure he doesn’t wake anyone up .It been weeks -- he miss her and want her back in his arm but he know she doesn’t feel the same. He had give her space and restrain himself from seeing her because he afraid he will break down and act desperate . So many lonely night he had laid in bed and feel the empty side where she once slept but tonight the wall had crumble . If he doesn’t see a glance of her face , surely he will...die. Black veil. The knife that stab his heart had became more painful everyday . How can she not understand how much she mean to him ? He a vampire. A demon. Human is a puzzle to him . When she ask to return back to her old room , what was he suppose to think ? Also , the tear that she shred -- was it because of him ? Is it an agonize to live with a demon ? He was afraid of the answer. He stop in front of her room . He stood there silently , leaning his ear toward the door and pray a sound will escape but there was nothing . He was sad and place his hand on the door ..lightly , spreading his finger on the wooden door , “..black veil ..I miss you ..come back to me ..” he whisper . Suddenly he felt something wet on his face and wipe it with his hand -- it was tear . This had never happen before. What is wrong with him ?

Tears of yearning had roll down the demon’s face and he felt it with his hand . It had never happen before !! He was overwhelm with emotion ..and stood there in shock. He a vampire with great ability and more powerful than any human but right now he is crying ..like an idiot for a human girl, whom had no desire to be with him ! He take several step backward but his eye stare at the door , so badly he want to break it down and drag her into his arm. With the remaining strength left he peel his eye away and left the west wing , he goes into his chamber and lit all the candle light in the room , he climb into bed and laid flat on his back . All these lonely days and miserable nights , he had kept himself distant from her but deep in his heart , he knew it was pure torture to be apart from this ..puny human . His hand felt the empty side where she use to sleep . He miss her. If only she feel the same . He close his eye and fell a sleep .

The next day Ms. Nawahdee told her son about the wedding . Aum was furious and storm out the chamber and make his way down the hallway , roaring loudly and knock one of servant to the floor without being aware of it . Rina was standing at the opposite end of the hallway when she saw the demon march toward her and by the look of his face it was murder . Rina smile and waited for him.

“…why do you want a marriage ?!..”

“…its my right to demand such ceremony ..”

“…if that’s the case I shall marry all 25 of them !..”

“…NO! Your mother will arrange everything and she already announce it to everyone ..”

“..I have no desire to marry you ..”

“..he will..” said Ms. Nawahdee , standing behind her son and the demon turn around

“..but mother ..I---

“…the wedding will take place by the end of this month ..”

Rina smile with joy and softly clap her hand . The demon glare at his mother and said “…give me one good reason why I should ..marry her..”

“…if you want Prisana to stay in this mansion , you will do what I say ..”

“…she is carrying my child , you wouldn’t dare throw her out..”

“…you are right , no I will not throw her out ..but after she give birth, I can promise you that girl will leave the following day …” Ms. Nawadee saw the unsettle on his face and read his emotion ,she had suspect it for some time but now it confirm . This human girl , is indeed special to her son but either way she will not allow Prisana to stay in the mansion after child birth .

“..Prisana is not going anywhere !!..” shouted Aum

“..then , be a good son and marry Rina ..”

The demon was silent but his eye was cold . He know his mother is serious . Marriage doesn’t mean anything to him . It just a piece of paper . It doesn’t change anything beside Rina’s status ! The witch probable brain wash his mother but he doesn’t care , his mind is full of Prisana . He can’t bear to lose her or let her leave . He will agreed to anything, “ …very well, do what ever you want ..” he said dryly and ignored the smile on Rina ‘s face , he swiftly walk pass her .

“..im so excited !!..”exclaimed Rina

“..he agreed , only because I threat to kick Prisana out ..” Ms. Nawahdee had the last laugh and walk away with a grin on her face , leaving Rina to stump her feet by the sarcasm.

Aum was still heated and went looking for Tai . He shouted , “ …Tai !!! Where are you !!..” . Oni appear holding a basket of laundry and the demon stop her path , asking if she seen Tai .

“..he out back helping madam’ with the laundry ..”

“..which madam ? ..”

“..madam’ Prisana ..”

The demon frown. Oni was frighten and lower her eye , he shouted “ ..go away !.”

“..yes ‘ master ..” Oni quickly goes about her duty .

The demon tighten his fist and headed toward the west wing . He search around for the couple and came to a open door the lead to the back yard , he stood there and look out . The sun is not high but daylight is still visible , if he step outside his strength will be drain severely because he had not taken his meal to assure his safety under direct sunlight . He had no choice but to stand by the door way and watch the couple . He wasn’t to thrill to see his lover with another man company , the demon violently grasp the door frame and crush it in his palm. The wooden splinter break off and fall to the ground .

Tai was helping Prisana with the laundry . He set up the cloth line and fluff all the bed sheet before tossing it over the line while she hand wash it . Tai was directed by Le to come help out because Nana refuse to let any servant to help Prisana with the chores.

“..I really appreciated it..” said Prisana and rose to help straighten the sheet on the line .

“..no problem..”

“..O‘ my !..”

“..what wrong ?..”

Prisana look downward and rub the small mount , “ ..the baby kick again ..”

“..really ?!..” he stare down on her tummy , fully amaze and said “..maybe the baby want to come out and help !..”

She laugh and said , “ ..not until 4 more months..”

“ ..young master must be happy to be a father ..”

“..he probable to happy about the wedding to think about the baby ..“ she said softly and bewilder tear coursed down her cheek by the mention of the demon . Its her weakness and she hate it . Tai drop his smile after being aware of her sadness . He had no attention to make her cry and try to joke around , hoping to lose the tension but it had no effect . She turn away and continue her works , Tai hit himself on the head and curse under his breath for being a big mouth.

He tap over her shoulder and said , “ …im sorry , but seriously I know the young master care deeply about you ..it just that ..well…he haven’t realize it yet ..”

She turn around and a sob choke her throat , “…do not talk for his behalf ..”

A loud roar was heard and the two quickly turn to the side , the demon was glaring at them . Prisana gasp by the sight of his glowing green eye , Tai froze and drop the bed sheet to the ground . The demon was furious and shouted “..Prisana ! Come here this instant !..”

She didn’t move nor did Tai but when the demon fangs appear and his eye darken with deep green , she knew someone will get hurt and Tai turn on his heel and quickly walk away . She approach the demon even though her mind sense his anger and was quite frighten by the tone of his face. He reach for her arm and drag her inside , she twist herself free and face him, “ …it hurt ..”

“..what were you and Tai talking about ??! Why is he with you ?!..”

“..nothing, he was just helping me with the chores ..”

“..it was more than helping ! You were laughing ! Man and woman doesn’t just smile at each for no reason at all ..” he grunted and slice his hand in the air

It was like a slap in the face. His accusing tone was an insult and she wasn’t about to correct herself either , “..then think what ever you want ..”

Aum turned , walking toward the window and act as if he didn’t’ hear her , “ ..next time get other servant to help you ! ..”

She feel annoyance with his innocent act --- wasn’t it him that order Nana to make her do chores everyday !? , “ ..if nothing else , I’m leaving ..” she completely ignore his statement and walk away . They haven’t seen each other for weeks and when they did , he was shouting and accusing her of flirting with another man . It must be because he is getting marry soon .

He saw her walk away and anger swept thru him like a storm , he shouted “ ..is being with me that repulsive ?!! That you can’t even stand to hear me anymore ? I assume anyone will make you happy beside me ! Anyone ! Even my driver !..” As he said this his face held no expression but his eye was full of emotions , rage , bewilder , pain and what ever human had he felt it all .

She turn around and shake her head , slowly at first and then more wildly as tears start to spill down her cheeks . She only saw his cold expression and it choke her inside . “ ..yes , you are right . Anyone can make me happy but not you !..”

“..Prisana ” he said softly as his brow frown and his lip tremble , she was crying again and he was sad

“..just go away !..”

“..why is it so hard for you to accept me ?! Is it became im a ..vampire ? I want you ..”

“..you do not want me ..”

“..I had never want any woman as badly as you. Black veil..”

“..You are getting marry soon ! And you told me vampire ..does not get marry. You lie..”

“..Prisana , marriage does not change anything . You and the child belong to me just like before..”

“..marriage is probable nothing to vampire but to human it had value ..”

“..I do not understand what you mean but regardless of what happen in the future , just remember this . I only want you . Had always been and forever..”

She stood there gazing into his eye , she want to believe this demon because she love him. Yes. She had fall in love with a ..vampire and had been lying to herself for so long. But logic reason had prevent her from telling him what inside her heart , there his mother that threaten to take her child away after birth , the possibility of them being half sibling , then of course his announce marriage to Rina and last of all …he doesn’t love her . It just an act . He is seducing her with his words . He had never once said he love her . Even if those words have no value toward him but to her it mean everything . He slowly walk toward her and she step backward , “ ..stop ..don’t touch me ..” she begin to sob .

He was tore . Then with a hoarse roar he reach out and pull her into him in a fierce embrace , burying his face in her hair as he held her . She was lock in his arm and felt the powerful trembling of his body , she slowly move her own arms up his back without thinking . The demon lips found her temple and her cheek , wet with tear and he lick every drop of it . “ ..Prisana ..” he mummer and continue “..you are mine! I will touch you…lick you ..kiss you ..”. His arms loosen and he begin to move his hand along her body as he spoke in hoarse whisper “..I miss you ..”

She was crying on his chest . He is to cruel . Making her believe in him and giving her hope ! Why?! Why does this man make her heart ace so much but at the same time felt so loved by him.

“ ..get your hand off my husband !!..” shouted Rina from across the hallway. She march toward the couple and split the two apart . She turn to slap Prisana across the face and the demon roar like a beast , he grab Rina’ arm to stop her from swinging another blow .

“..how dare you !!..” he shouted into her face and then his mother appear from the other side of the hallway,

“..let her arm go !!..” shouted Ms. Nawahdee

The demon release his grip and turn to his mother , “ ..she hit Prisana ! The mother of my child !!..”

“..she is your future wife !!..”

Prisana stood in between the two while cupping her burning cheek . Tear was streaming down as she turn to the demon and said, “ …if nothing else , I’m leaving ..” she turn and walk away . His hand reach out but she was to fast and he miss her arm . He stood there with such longing and silently watch her leave . Rina smile .
