Black and white twins two-in-a-million

Twins with different skin colours — one black, one white — have been born in Germany in what is thought to be a one-in-a-million occurrence.

The twin boys, named Ryan and Leo, are the offspring of mixed-race couple Florence Addo-Gerth, from Ghana, and her German husband Stephan Gerth.

The infants caused a sensation at the Sana Hospital in Lichtenberg, Germany, where they were born last Friday.

Birgit Weber, the doctor who helped deliver the babies by ceasarean section, said that in 20 years of practice, this was the first time she had seen differently-coloured twins.

"Ryan came first, and everything was as usual," Fox News quoted Weber as saying.

"But when Leo was born, I couldn't believe my eyes.

so they're fraternal twins right? i would assume so. i think that's so cute tho, it totally represents the parents.

it does one looks really like his mother and one really like his father its like what the LOL ... they will never get them mix up hehe ... but I wonder what happens and how it happens in the egg and the splitting progress that it came out that way, i mean dark is dominant

they were saying that the mother might have some white heritage or the dad might have black heritage for this to happen.

That's not even white. lol THey just have very different skin color. Some black has skin color as the lighter twin.

yeah but it's lighter na ja than his brother. usually they would come out mixed at you said, but this is just very rare.

I have already have seen two different colour sisters (my cousins) but there are not twin : the elder is white (like her french father) and the second is dark like her mother...but this time is two twins !!!
I think the nature can so surprise us sometime !
