In a magazine, I think it was Newsweek, I read that Bush says that if Congress passes a law to pull out the troops, he will veto it. I can't believe him. So many people are suffering for his decision.

withdraw is a bad option since terrorist use iraq as a major base for their activities planning etc...but it is also not nice to stay there too long as locals there might feel invaded and anti feelings for british and america might develope. staying too long in a friend's place for too long if inconviennce are caused will make your friend feel you are not really that invited there.
