Now its been on the news for a week I think and its very sad and upsetting to know a big event like this happens again, almost every year something tragic will happen that wipes out thousands and leaving millions in a state of shock or homeless.

First they were slowing finding people dead, from 1000 to 5000, to 10,000 then to 15,000 and now the final number is around 100,000 dead from the cyclone and the high wave that it brought along, hitting the area delta where almost everyone lived.

What upsets me is that the government there is not helping the country by not allowing in the help and aids that other countries are offering, like Thailand for example and US, they wanted them to have Burma visa in order to get in just to help them this is life issue, it not government or whatever, human together they should open up to those wanting to help, damn it!

yeh this is sad but they are letting thaiand bring in aid but not a lotand the n even letting the US and UK bring in anything and they're the 2 rich country who can afford to bring Aid in. but i hope they do somthing soon!!!

yeah the govt is so corrupt. if ppl were going to send money i'm pretty sure that it wouldn't reach the people in need. that's prolly why more of them are coming to america

They did in the end but delay it by weeks which was already late you know people were already dying... i can't remember why but because of visa etc which I would say its stupid when its life and death here yet they want people to get visa before they can get in to help others.
