I think wealthy kids outside of the US are even more bold and dare devils as they are above the law. Here in the US, yes, money does buy some time and may bail you out at certain times but the laws are stricter and less flexible here for anyone.

it depends on the case aiyaja.. i mean look at paris hilton... if it wasn't for her family fame and money, she wouldn't had gotten off so easy.. and the only reason why she had to do those week or so of time was because of the media and the judge being afraid of how his rep would be tarnish.. then you have what's her face doing time for only 80 something minutes.. but yeah if you're talking about manslaughter or murder then yes it's stricter.. rich kids here are still above the law because they can hire the best lawyer money can buy.. it's just that once they have a strike against them, they are watched... in asia, they are above the law cus the justice systems are corrupted..

The thing I never understood is why people prefer to hang out with the rich kids lol. I saw how some people were being used like donkey's by the rich kids during h.s. I'm like; dude... have some dignity. Some of those rich kids even had to buy their "high school diploma" which is pretty sad.

That's why I said at certain times, money can buy one's freedom here in the US but it's less common versus other countries.

At my HS, um, we practically saw the whole bully thing portrayed in movies. Seniors would throw freshmen into trashcans, throw milk cartons at them, and pick on nerds out in the hallways.

lol buying their diploma... lol that's funny cus it's not only the rich people who do that but the poor as well.. all they need to do is send their kids in to play sports, heck they even play their way through a college degree!.. so yeah lol let's stop picking on the rich kids.. and not all rich kids are bad.. that's sooo stereotyping movies...
