Crap, I couldn't vote because I didn't get to register. Frankly, I wouldn't be surprised if the Republican Party wins again because theoretically, many people are too lazy to go to vote. Although more than half the population of the US are for Democrats, most don't vote and so the lead goes to Republicans.

lol obviously you havent followed the news and only going with the hype?

in this election, they found that there are 30% increase in hispanic voting in this year then any other year and majority of them are voting for Clinton. so no demoracrats are not lazy per say.. it could be that in the last election, majority of the country trust Bush more then Kerry.. like i said, you just have to vote for the lesser of the two evil, even if the one voted will bring you down as well... you just have to weight the pros and cons... also there are people who believe that if it's not the person they like, they rather not vote so that when shit goes down, THEY can't be blame.. personally i believe if you didn't vote (that is if you can and didnt) then you keep your mouth shut.. and of course you then have those who stick to your party in which i am one of those..

anyways after reading obama's plan vs clinton's... i don't think i like obama's plan all that much... but that's just me.. i say research the delegates before voting unless you're just like me who stick with your party..

If you don't vote then you don't have the right to complain. Thats my mantra.

Natty I have to say I prefer Obama's plan over Clinton. I personally don't like the idea of forcing everyone to have something. That leads me to the question of why would you need to do that? If the plan is to do a similar style like the European countries then it should just be like them. IE just go to the hospital and get taken care of. Why do all these extra unnecessary work?

Anyway who you voting for Nat?

Dang I forgot about this thread lol sorry.. So who am I voting for? Well, I'm still deciding if I should stick to my party and go with McCain or step out and vote for Hillary, well that is IF she is the nominee..

I don't like Obama's plan of saving the people who are losing their homes to foreclosures. Why should I have to bail out their stupidity?

Hey natty. I totally respect your decision on who you're going to vote for because after all it's your right! *rll* However, i think you should just stick with the Democrats because I don't think McCain will be that good of a president (not saying that the Democrats will be any better). Have you heard of the speeches that he makes?? I think he's a complete idiot like Bush (maybe not as dumb), but he's almost there.

I was stuck between Obama and Clinton, but after doing some research I think I like Clinton's plan (particularly on health care, although i wished it would be more like Britain, and etc.) more than Obama. I think it's really naive to think that their plans are going to work, but it's something that gives you some sort of childish hope.

Happy Voting in the General Elections in November! *gg*

oh just to let you know.. i'm not a democrat.. i'm a republican.. thing i dont like about mccain is that he's too liberal... but he is a republican.. i still have to respect that.. i like his foreign policy and but he's not too clear about domestic issue.. one thing for sure.. if it's obama vs mccain, i'm going with my party... if clinton (which at this moment is pretty unlikely) vs mccain, then i'm going to have to do some extensive research before i cast my ballot..
