What will it sound like when you die? In “One Missed Call,” a chain of people receive terrifying cell phone messages of their own final fatal moments. Though the messages can be deleted, their number is up. Beth Raymond is traumatized when she witnesses the gruesome deaths of two friends just days apart. Even more disturbing, she knows that both of them had received chilling cell phone messages-actual recordings of their own horrifying last moments. Impossibly, the calls were received days before they died, but each death occurred precisely when and how the messages foretold. The police think Beth is delusional-except for Detective Jack Andrews whose own sister was killed in a freak accident that bears a strange similarity to the deaths of Beth’s friends. Together, Jack and Beth work feverishly to unravel the mystery behind the ominous calls. But even as they get closer to the truth, Beth’s cell phone begins to ring with an eerie tune, and the readout says One Missed Call...

I really like the Jap one. part 1 and part 2 which was scary. i am going to check this out on sunday. i really do hope it doesn't suck.

I like the original version so much better. This one was just plain boring to me. It was not at all scary!

I heard that it sucks compared to the original version; LOL I love the original version so I know I'll hate this one already. In the trailers it looks so different, but I read on the review from takeshi the original directer that the storyline was suppose to follow a different storyline nothing like the original... and the ringtone is edited! I wanted to go see it just to criticize it LOL, but have to wait till my husband has his days off work wed and thurs. cause he also wanted to see it .... this is what i said at sworld lol part 3 was pretty good too! I liked part 3; but it wasn't that scary yanno just like gory.... but part 3 was good also...

I get scared easily, so the original one was pretty scary to me, although I didn't understand the ending. I want to watch this one but have to wait till my cousins get in town next week. Hopefully, I'll understand the ending to this one.

Just a little of the story was changed. But basically the concept of it was pretty much the same. The new ringtone totally sucked. It isn't as creepy like the one they used in the Japanese version.

And to me, the part where her friend died while shooting the tv show was so weak compared to the original. It was suppose to brutal. The little girl was suppose to crack all her bones while the others watched in horror. But this one gave it a cheap shot by making the lights go out so you didn't really see anything. What a waste of a good scene!

Dude, that's already scary, and there's an original movie. Can't imagine how the original is. I don't like scary movies, I hardly watch them. Dude, Chuckie creeps me out so bad; I watch one movie of Chuckie, and now any doll reminds me of Chuckie.

i saw the preview and it wasnt that scary just creepy i think the korean version is scaryier..

I want to see the original! I saw the remake.. and it looked like every other remake. I wonder what the Americans will remake next??
