I just saw this and thought it was really good. I love period pieces and both actors were good in this movie. James McAvoy is just really handsome in here and can't wait to see him in more movies. I hope he gets popular because he's a really good actor.

I thought Atonement was an outstanding movie, especially with the quality of lead actors. Keira Knightley moved into a new level with her performance here, and so did James McAvoy. But the star of the movie was definitely the little Irish girl who plays as Keira Knightley's sister. I think she's been nominated for an Oscar for that role.
