I dont usually watch Chinese series, but the opening theme credits of this movie caught my eye, the quality of the editing and graphics was amazing even in the theme alone. The song was really nice too lol.... not to mention lately thai lakorns have let me down one right after the other, so I turned to chinese *hihe*

nways has anyone watched it? It's sooo sad  I've heard how the version from the 80's was, and this version seems much more realistic *muha* not to mention they made the deaths of each of the brothers and their father so sad in this one *muha*

no but I want to watch it. well u know he's not that cute, but he's trendy and likeable. Like his eyes, if he's shoot from the front, his eyes looks like frog eyes, but his face from any other angle looks fine lol. He's got really nice skin probably cause he's still so young, and he probably doesnt smoke *hihe* but I heard he got into an accident last year, so he had to undergo skin grafting.

He's doing the remake of LOCH  I havent watched any of the versions, but his fans say he's not suitable for the role cause the lead in that one is only suppose to be a little bit above average, and Hu Ge is way above, and he doesnt look stupid like the lead is suppose to be either *muha*

nways watch this part...so sad, the boys come back, two of them, the other 4 died, Peter I think ends up on the rivals side *muha*

*muha* The lakorn is long!!! *muha*

Well Chinese Paladin, I've watched it like last year but they have it at BBTVTHAI, I wanted to watch again and only get started at episode 2? Cuz don't want to begin first episode lol but since account expire, didn't get to watch it again. lol

is that the dubbed version? no wonder. I swore they sounded different on the discs I watched lol *rll*

nways he got into an accident filming LOCH or a real car accident?

in here, Hu Ge plays the 6th son, one of the two that came home. The 7th brother died in the fields on his escape back after he went for help for his father and brothers. I dont think he would have been so badly hurt if not for him grabbing that red scarf. He kinda lost his concentration

http://fr.youtube.com/watch?v=BQRo7x2QyDk&...feature=related

but nways it changed from the version in the 80s, I heard there was two of them together for that scene, the 7th one dying from his own soldiers killing him.

as for Hu Ge he doesnt die in this battle. Unfortunately, Peter doesnt die, and he ends up marrying the princess of liaos, and they have a son together. Peter later realizes his past and grieves himself to death. but his son not knowing his past as well, ends up going to battle again with the Yang family, and kills his own uncle, which is the 6th son, Hu Ge :Spicy_05: it's not in this particular series, just read on it lol *muha*

wait not sure if he was injured from a car accident but I heard of the accident from LOCH or I was just confusing myself between the two? :Spicy_05: Because they stop filming LOCH for a while and just begin recently lol

oh yeah the 7th died lol

Dang I hate how he married to that girl *blah* I was like noo lol the other version I watched.

damn, isn't that sad? I think it's too sad *muha* going to war with one another without knowing, you're blood related. *rll*

*rll* wars are never good

I remember now, in the movie version, Andy Lau play the 6th son, he married to a princess, so that's Hu Ge. Tony Leung play the 7th son, I remember he died :Spicy_05: that was so sad. The saddest part was when the father died. *muha*

I hate watching war lakorn lol too depressing and devastated. *blah*

in that version, they said that the 7th son died with his other brother. He himself was so hurt, his legs didnt hold up, and his brother, lost his eye sight, so they got together, one on top of the other, the 7th son on top of his brother, he was the eyes, his brother was the legs. But his brother ended dying leaving him alone, so he mustered enough energy to stay on his feet, but then the pm started feeding stuff into the soldiers ears and they shot with him with thier arrows.

I heard that they were gods in the last one right? like the arrows wouldnt even penetrate, cause Tony and some of the brothers were actually gods. They had to slash his forhead, and it was only then that the arrows went in him.

Alec Su also did a version back in 2005? dammit I dont know how he manage to be lead, he's soooooo damn ugly :Spicy_05: his skin is like a nightmare, all these ugly bumps like he doesnt wash his face or take care of his hygiene. If that's not bad enough, it's so uneven too. His forhead is so wide and his nose is wide and ugly. I cant find one decent thing about him....then to add up to all of this, he's short, and looks it too *muha* omg I dont watch chinese series cause of him and all those other ugly dudes *rll*

yeah Alec Su did one with Chae Rim the Korean actress :Spicy_05: I didn't watch it cuz umm I don't like him anymore *ha5* I actually thought he looked cute in that one with Jimmy Lin, that twin series. *rll*

Yeah they were God, so they have to chopped their head off. That was so sad. I like Tony and I wish he wasn't dead. *muha*

I wonder why they werent portrayed as gods in this one. They were just normal guys. It would make sense that they were right? since they were so powerful, able to fight off thousands of troops.

but then again if they were gods, why didnt the gods from above help them out? I want to watch the 80's version now lol. My aunt says this version is better though, cause the king isnt as stupid and evil. He's just stupid in this one, whereas in previous versions he was portrayed as evil, always doing things to rid of the Yang family.

Alec Su, urrg I cant stand him. He's soo hideous. Not as if Hu Ge is sooo handsome, but he's got a hot factor, a cool factor, which Alec doesnt embody at all *nono* Alec looks like a joke playing a tough guy *nthu*

Actually a lot of the guys in this series is decent, none of them super handsome, but they've got manliness quality. Just like I find Chakrit ugly, but I still prefer him over other pra'eks cuase he's manly, and he's got a coolness factor. What I hate about the chinese actors is they're sooo umm transvesite, they all got nose jobs, eye jobs, some of them even got chin and cheek implants :P but I notice all the guys in here, very manly in terms of keeping it natural *ha-ha*

I like the casting for this series too, except that brother that went to buat, umm Johnny, his acting isnt up to par, when he cries he's so dry, he's just awkward. He really needs to brush up on his acting *rll*
