Aum and Nuti grew up together since they were young and she likes to pick on him and is mean to him cause he is just a visitor living in her house. But she secretly enjoys his company and I don’t think that she minds that much with being around him. His parents died and he’s living with her because she is her mother’s nephew and her mother’s dead. Nuti is an intelligent person and very true to anyone who helps him out. So that is why he allows Aum to pick and be mean to him cause he knows that without her father he would be out begging in the streets. Mayurate is Aum’s neighbor and they are the same age and she has loved Nuti since they were young and does nice things to him. Mayurate compared to Aum is the perfect housewife. Aum on the other hand is what we call a spoiled brat.
When exam times comes Aum doesn’t pass them while all her other friends do and she’s upset about this and her father decides to send her to finish studying in America. So she goes to America and doesn’t return until she has finished school. When she’s back her father throws her a party and there she sees Mayurate hanging on Nuti’s arms and they are now a couple and are engaged to be married. Aum is happy for them. There is this Chinese guy named Jesda who wants to be with Aum but Aum could care less about him.
Aum and her friends, along with her brother and sisters, Nuti, Mayurate, and Jesda end up at the beach and Aum sees Nuti and Mayurate together and in a way she is jealous. Although when she talks to Nuti she is happy for them and want is cheering them on. Aum gets a call and she has to go back to Bangkok to clear some work and Mayurate is infuriated when Nuti wants to drive her there. This is also when Nuti is rude to Jesda who is going to drive Aum home and so Jesda vows to make Nuti sorry. Which leads to him hitting on Mayurate. Mayurate only agrees to go out with him cause he spoils her with money and shows her the night life which Nuti wouldn’t be caught at.
Mayurate and Aum have and argument about Nuti one day and Aum exclaims in anger that if she wanted to take Nuti away from Mayurate it would be as easy as pie and Mayurate leaves furious. It was Aum’s birthday and she was supposed to take the first dance and she got to choose her escort and she choose Nuti to dance with her, with her argument with Mayurate in mind. Mayurate is upset and she starts to drink and drink and she’s never drank before so she gets stones. Jesda leads her to the little house behind the big one and sleeps with her. In the meantime Aum is in Nuti’s arms as they share a kiss. He backs away and apologizes non-stop and tells her to punish him and she does… with a peck on the cheek which surprises him.
Aum notices that Mayurate and Jesda are no where to be found so she goes to find them. When she does Jesda is zipping his pants and Rate is hugging herself in shame. As Aum yells at Jesda, Nuti appears and Rate runs into his arms. Nuti then proceeds in beating the hell out of Jesda. Not being able to take it anymore, Rate runs home and tells her mother everything. Jesda not wanting to be blame and wanting a way out blames it all on Aum, saying that she planned it. Which enraged Nuti, giving Jesda a chance to run and he does. Nuti turns his attention to Aum who is desperately trying to make him believe her but he won’t. So he brings up the whole “an eye for an eye” ordeal and proceeds kissing her as tears trickle down her face. Realizing what he was doing he backs off just as there is someone at the door. It was her two brother and she told them not to tell anyone about what they saw.
Nuti being a gentleman tries to apologize to her the next day but she just avoids him as much as possible. Soon Rate becomes pregnant and Nuti promises to take responsibility and is willing to accept her in her state. Rate’s mom on the other hand doesn’t want her daughter to marry someone who isn’t financially stable and she wants her daughter to marry Jesda, plots a scheme. Which was that she owed money to these people and that she used the house and a way to pay. And time was almost up and soon they would have to move. Rate asks Nuti to help but having pride he refusing the money that Aum offers to help. Which leads to Rate agreeing to marry Jesda. Who thinks that he has won Nuti by getting his girl. But the girl that Nuti really loved was Aum.
Once Rate was married she still tried to be close to Nuti who by now was confessing to Aum that he loved her. Soon they got married. As Nuti was in the restroom he overheard a few of his friends talking about Aum’s exclamation to Rate about Aum being able to take Nuti away from Rate was a piece of cake and so they spent their wedding night away from each other. Not wanting to upset her family, Aum and Nuti pretend to be in love when they are in other people’s presence but when apart they didn’t even want to look at each other. Aum was upset about him ignoring her so she pretend to be going out with her male friend to make him jealous but in reality she went out by himself. One night she came home and he was in her bed and they had an argument. She said something that made him made and I believe that she slapped him and he forced himself on her and she begged for him to stop. He backed away looking at her and then the light went out and he continued and she was his.
The next morning she woke-up sick and when he was at work he couldn’t stop thinking about her. She had her friend check on him cause she worked in the same place. When he came home late one night. she was pissed at him. Then she got a call and her friend told her that he was at the workplace until night. She knew that he wasn’t lying and she couldn’t open her mouth to say sorry but they came to terms with one another and everything was going great until Rate came to talk to Nuti one day and feeling like a brother to her he hugged her. Which Aum’s brothers saw and told her causing problems. Aum was mad at Nuti again and she wanted him to stop seeing Rate and he reluctantly agreed which made Aum happy.
Rate had problems with Jesda early one in the marriage cause she was in love with Nuti and not him. So soon Jesda left the house and she was free to disturb other people’s marriage. Rate saw that Nuti was neglecting her so she stage an accident by making herself fall down the stairs and having a maid call Nuti. Nuti was hesitant at first to help her but he did and he broke the promise to her. Which she told him was his last chance and she meant business. In the next few days she introduced him to Chester McDonald’s character who was introduced to Nuti as her love interest. She began to go out with Chester and Nuti became jealous and often asked who he was. His ultimate rage showed when she was having dinner with Chester and he was with Rate, he saw her and instantly went to her and pulled her to go home with him. Leaving Rate alone.
When in the car she asked him to promise her once again but he hesitated and she ran from the car without looking and a car hit her and she hit her head on the cement. When she woke up she didn’t want to talk to him and distanced herself from him. But soon the truth was revealed about Chester relationship to Aum cause the truth was he was a friend from America and was already involved with someone. Rate began to stage more accidental meeting with Nuti but Aum was told they went to see each other and she had enough so one day she left and she made sure that no one told Nuti where she was. Jesda also told Nuti the truth about the night of Aum’s birthday. That Aum had no role in him violating Rate. Nuti decided to leave the house. Also telling Rate that he had only loved her as a sister all along. He felt that he needed to protect her and the person he loved was Aum.
Time passed and Aum was ready to come home and when she returned a party was thrown for her. She was disappointed that she didn’t see Nuti. Her father told her that he had a present for her and he told her that it was in her room and that he would go get it for her but she told him that she will go get it herself. So she went to her room and a pair of arms hugged her with love. Nuti was also there to see her and so they joined the rest of their family for a happy ending and a dance as well.

This lakorn finally click in my head. I think Aiyaja wrote a long summary about this lakorn before. I remember now. lol They knew each other since young.
