For those thinking of making an MV.

1. Capture/Upload the scenes you want to use on to your computer.

2. Burn the song you want to use on to your computer (if you don't have it already).

3. Open Windows Movie Maker.

4. On the left hand side, there are some choices. Click on:

A. Capture Video (if you're going to capture a scene using a digital camera)
B. Import Video (if you're going to import a clip saved on your computer)
C. Import Picture (if you're going to put pictures in your MV)
D. Import Audio (if you're going to use a song)

5. Once you have imported all your scenes, you can edit out the parts you don't want if it's too long, or you can rearrange the order of your clips so that they go with the song...or however you want to do it.

6. After it's done the way you want it, just go to File, scroll down to Make Movie File (or something like that, I can't remember), and then Windows Movie Maker will make it into an MV for you.

That's it!

But if you don't understand anything, don't hesitate to ask.

To make an image clearer:

When you save your movie file, do you see it gives you 3 choices?

1) Best quality for playback on my computer (recommended)
2) Best fit to the file size:
3) Other settings

I usually pick the second choice. It allows you to pick how big you want to save the file. The bigger the file, the clearer the image.

lol. I learned the hard way. cos the movie-maker would keep rejecting files that did not have the appropriate format so I had to find an encoder to make it possible to include in the MV.

Its a shame I didn't see sunny's tutorial sooner haha yeh making those MV's take a LONG time to edit with all the effects but it is way fun and I'm hecka proud at the outcome. I just hate it when my computer is so slow and then the movie-maker becomes unresponsive so I lose all that I have done. Yeh I forget to save it haha silly me.

When I make MVs I try to remember to save EVERY 5 mins at least because I once was almost done and did not save anything and I lost everything, pissed off I never gone back to it and just start on another one about a year later LOL

thank you so much, i thought making a mv about my favourite lakorn but i don't know how to use movie maker, i often use virtualdub.

lol. aww...sunny! After all your hardwork too! I'd be just as mad as well lol cos it has happened to me plenty of time that I just don't bother with MV's anymore unless its a real obssession with someone or something lol.

My computer is so slow cos I either have too much memory taken up by junk and less space to save other things or its that doopid flv video splitter that ruins it for everything! Maybe that's probably why when I go to open a saved project it takes so long to upload it so I don't bother saving any MV's and just make or scrap a project lol.

wow. these steps sound so simple. i am going to try. if i fail, LOL, I will ask u. hahahahaha =D
