here is a more detailed version of what he said, he said the fortune teller/monk said for sure he's going have someone next year. There he affirms that as soon as he has the one he'd take her to events.

I had to read the article from komchadluek to get it lol. The monk basically tells him he meets the one next year, and he says if that were true he'd go public with her.

I think he already has someone. Thus the reason why he went to see the monk for a date for the wedding. Do you ever hear about Oil going to get his fortune told? He hasnt done that in a long time, cause remember he hates having his fortune told, cause they once predicted he's either going to lead a short life, or else he'd become either be a celebrity or a rich businessman. I guess the later part came true vs the short life. But he said that short life prediction made him noy jai, that's why he doesnt have his fortune told.
