Yes, that's right, she is the younger sister of former PM Thaksin Shinawatra, with the many millions who still want the former leader back (Thaksin) I think this proves that he is still an influential person in the country and this would have to be like his 3rd election that he has won even though he's ousted and is not even in the country! (because after he left the next 3 set of PM that have become PM after him was all related to him by blood or in law LOL).

It was a war between PM Abhisit's Democrats and Ms Yingluck Pheu Thai, going head against head with the votes up and down all day Sunday but Pheu Thai clearly had the majority with 265 seats while Democrats only had 159.

Ms Yingluck Shinawatra at 44 years of age will become Thailand's first Female PM and Thailand's youngest PM in history and youngest Female PM in the World too.

I hope she does well and step out of her brother's shadows, it's true she won the votes because of her older brother and the name, people wanted his policies and the way he have helped the country back. The country have been in turmoil for too long and I hope once she step up, there will be no blood shed, every PM need more than one term or year to improve the country, I know not alot of people will be happy with her being the PM, for one, she is a female, for two, she is the younger sister of Thaksin and for three, she has no previous political experience so she does have a lot of downfall but if she can do what she promised during the election, I'm sure she will be fine. I wish her luck because she has a long way to go. Yep I voted for her too in the election.
