Just read this @ Kom Chad Luek:
http://www.komchadluek.net/detail/20110119...‡à¹à¸£à¸.html
The article is quite long, haven't got time to finish it. Can someone help to translate? Basically Tik said that he's worried about the language problem, but he will act with feeling (not only with words).

he didn't say anything that important though.. that's all basic, english barrier. he say he was surprised when they contacted him. he has always thought if he has the chance then he would do even though he doesn't think he's that international. He said he has worked with Shu Qi before in "The Eye 2". If there is language barrier, then there is the heart to communicate? I really just skimmed through. lol Sorry, SS.

Basically, I'm not anti-ing these collaboration or whatever... but the way I see it, there is no chemistry in different culture coming together to act in one lakorn. Movie is another story but in dramas, series... it doesn't go well togther. Acting technique is different and especially language barrier. I've seen Koreans with Taiwanese and Japanese and gosh, maybe it's just me but I don't like it. *^lol* Whatever floats their boat though cuz I won't be watching anyway. I might take a peak but I'll lost interest. *ha-ha*

I'm glad there is culture exchanging and there is interest in finally Chinese to Thai since it has always been Thai who are really into Chinese, since they kind of have Chinese in their blood. But eh, dramas is another thing. *^lol*

Thanks shampoo. Did he mention any names of TV channels or actor/actress in China?

I didn't watch Tik+Shu Qi movie cuz it's a ghost one, lol. but I think if they can use some "common language" like English to communicate, then it's OK. Ananda did quite a good job in some Singapore movies these yrs.

I read the story of this Chinese drama in some newspaper. It's a remake from a Korean TV drama, and none of the main actors/actresses ring the bell in my brain... (OK I haven't watched Chinese TV drama for yrs, but I really never heard of those names... at least I shall read some news about those names if they are hot, right?)
And the role that they want to get a foreign actor to be, is actually a supporting role. The production company named several names from Korea, as well as Tik. Now the whole thing looks like a promo for the drama only, cuz those Korean stars they mentioned, I don't believe that they will ever get time to act in a B-cast Chinese TV drama and even as a supporting role. lol.

when is collaboration ever include a-list stars?
They say: You don't know what you've got until it's gone

Truth: You knew exactly what you had, you just thought you'd never lose it

lol Mai you made right to the point!
if the production is A-cast, they don't need foreign blood to stimulate the audience.
from Hollywood to Asia, always a B-cast production involved some foreign stars who are A-list in their own countries. So it can be sth new to the production's country, and has a great selling point in the guest stars' countries too.
