Chance spotted Faith and watches her as she eats her food. Indeed, he sees the differences, her skin was pale and she didn’t look enthusiast. She didn’t really touch her food. He watches her as she sits there and watches her food.
“Can you see?” Lucky asked. Chance nodded his head.
Chapter 15
Few weeks later
Faith notified that she had located the mafia who had killed her parents. Her boss and all the police gather together and took off to a building area. Faith drove with her boss.
Boss: “I want you to be careful out there.”
Faith: “Understand sir, but I will be fine.”
Chance and Lucky was right behind them, he was getting frustrated at how fast Faith was driving. “She needs to slow down,” Chance said madly. “Maybe you just need to catch up,” Lucky said laughing.
When they all reach the destination, boss had assigned each of them partner, he quickly assigned Chance and Faith together. Without any disagreement, Faith took off inside and Chance followed. “Will you slow down,” he hisses at her. She then stops at her steps and face him. “If you can’t catch up then go your own way, split up,” she said and took off running. He refuses and went after her.
Chance didn’t want his boss to be disappointed in him again even though the first time she got hurt wasn’t his fault but he got blamed for it.
They hid behind some wooden carriages and listen to some people chatting on the other side. She peeked inside the gap and suddenly she sees someone in her dream. It was a man, she had been having dreams about him ever since her parents death.
Chance stared at her and trying to study what was on her mind. The way she squints her eyes and the face expression was one he never seen before.
“Willy, what would you like us to do with Mr. Chen?” one of the men asked. “Chop his head off,” Willy replied. He stood in the center of the room as everyone were behind him. Two guys left and drags along Mr. Chen. “You can never get enough killing people can’t you,” she thought to herself.
“What are you planning to do?” Chance asked. “Don’t worry,” she replied. “You are annoying,” he told her. She rolled her eyes. “Look we’re both on a case here, can’t you just fill me in a little,” he told her nicely.
“No,” Faith told him.
“Why can’t you just be nice once?” he asked. “I am always so nice, mean people like you just never noticed it,” she said and walks away. “Fine, leave and go die,” he hisses at her. Chance was angry, he just wishes she can just communicate nicely.
Faith bent down a little bit and made her way towards the other side where she can face Willy. Faith had a feeling that today was going to be the day that she will be able to capture him. She wasn’t going to let him get away.
Chance tried to follow her but she was already gone, out of his sight.
Chance: “Serious?”
Suddenly a gun shot was heard, everyone panic, then enter to the crowd. It was Faith, she made her way towards him. Willy suddenly saw something on her shoulders. It was her tattoo, he felt that it was familiar but quite sure what it was. Faith stops at her steps and look straight at Willy.
“Who are you miss?” Willy asked
Faith: “Take a guess.”
Willy: “I give up.” He then laughs at her. “I am sure that you still remember Andrew Gregson,” Faith said madly. A smile appears on his face, “Oh, so that is where I recognize that tattoo from.” He then continue to laugh. Faith can feel her body burning in anger. She glares at him and he did the same thing back.
“What brings you here my angel,” he said. “I’m here to take you to hell,” she yelled back at him. Chance suddenly hears her and tracks her voice. “What makes you think you can take me down so easily,” Willy told her. “I’ll kill you,” she yells again.
“What the heck are you?” Chance thought to himself.
“Little beauty, you think you are so thought, Ha. You are as useless are your father. Talk all you want missy!” he replied. “I will get my revenge, you jerk,” she said. “Like I said, talk all you want, besides I will be more than happy to send you to your parents,” he told her. “They will thank me.”
“Same thing goes for you talk all you want,” she told him as she took a step forward.
Before she can continue, police sirens were heard at every direction. Everyone panics and scattered everywhere. “What the, too early,” Faith thought to herself. Her boss wasn’t suppose to had used it yet. Faith went after Willy, he thrashes all the boxes down, trying to prevent Faith from catching up to him. “Come back,” she hisses.
“Catch me if you can,” he laughs.
Just then Faith suddenly takes a shot and shot him on the leg causing him to collapse. “Oh my god, Faith where the hell are you,” Chance thought as he beats down the guys coming towards his way. She was nowhere in sight, gun shots was heard constantly. He was getting worry.
All the polices rushed inside doing their best to capture all the ones that was involve in the gang. “Faith,” Chance called. There was no answer, he continue searching. He ran to every side but she was nowhere to be found. Another gunshot was heard and a scream. Chance stops in his steps; he can feel his heart stop beating. Then it was beating faster then ever.
He wasn’t sure of what he was feeling but he wanted to find Faith as soon as he could but still she was nowhere. “Faith,” he called out again.
Faith kicks Willy in the face he punches her in the stomach; she fell to the ground holding the pain back. She tells herself that no matter what pain she is now getting is nothing compare to the pain when she lost her parents. She quickly stands on her feet and threw punches at Willy. He dodges and blocks them and kicks her. She blocks and kicks him in the balls. He rolled to the ground crying out in pain.
“This is how it ends,” she said and raise her gun at him and fired. Faith screams as she was being shot in the arm, her gun fell from her hands and Willy quickly runaway with one of his guys who had shot Faith from the side.
“What the heck are you, Faith where you.” Chance cried.
Just then from the corner of his eyes, someone flew and got a hold of him from the neck. Causing them to spend around, Chance quickly presses his trigger and shot that person. “Chance,” she called lowly. The sound of her voice woke him from his worrying from looking for her. Her grasp were slowly loose and slid off his shoulders. Her knees were weak and no longer able to stand.
Chance held her in his arms as he watches her trying to gain some consciousness. “Chance,” she called again. This time she went unconscious. “Faith, Faith,” he called shaking her. “Chance,” his boss called from behind. When he reaches them, he sees Faith stable and rushed to the hospital.
“Can you see?” Lucky asked. Chance nodded his head.

“Faith,” Chance called as they ran her to the ICU room.
The nurses close the door behind them. Chance eyes were worried and filled with tears. His boss looks at him and surprise by his action.
“Chance are you ok,” he asked.
“Boss, I shot her, I shot her,” Chance said constantly.
“Chance it was an accident,” his boss said trying to calm him down. “NO, it wasn’t, it wasn’t, I pressed on the trigger,” Chance said yelling.
“Come to your sense,” his boss said as he smacked him.
“If she doesn’t get well, I will never forgive myself, and it wasn’t an accident,” Chance said again. “Chief,” someone called running towards their direction.
“Hope, what are you doing here,” he asked.
“Chief, you told me that Faith will never occur in this situation again, why huh, how I am going to live,” she said crying.
“She will be fine,” he told her.
“I can’t afford to loose her,” Hope cried.
“Hope, it was my fault, I shot her,” Chance said to her. She looks at him and just cried but did nothing. She wants to hit him but she dares not to. Lucky walks towards and bury her into his arms.
“Don’t cry anymore Hope, your sister will be fine,” Lucky told her.
A few hours later, the doctors finally came out from the room. Chance quickly ran towards him. “How is her condition,” Hope asked.
“She is safe now; the patient is still weak and tired. Please just give her some time to rest and relax on her own,” the doctor said.
“I told you Hope, Faith will be fine,” Lucky said. Hope smiles.
“Can we go see her,” Hope asked.
“Please, go in quietly, its best not to disturb the patient much,” he said and walks away.
All of them enters and see that faith was already asleep. One of the nurses pulls the blanket over her and left. “She is asleep,” Hope asked.
“Yes,” the nurse answered.
“OK, I will take my leave, I will go talk to the doctors first, you guys take it easy,” boss said and left the room.
Chance stares at Faith laying there. He didn’t know what was going through his mind but he can feel his heart aching for her.
“I’m sorry Hope,” Chance apologized. “No need,” she said.
“What,” he asked confused.
“She is safe now,” she replied. “Please say no more,” she said.
Chapter 16
It has already been a week since Chance has last seen Faith. She refuses to see anybody else other than her sister her boss. Chance hasn’t been able to see her with her request.
“She must be very angry,” he thought to himself just as he was getting ready for work.
Faith was getting two weeks off from work and Chance couldn’t wait to see her again. He combs his hair and left to work.
At the station
“Thank you boss for having me here and taken good care of me, I will be taking my leave now,” she said. “Faith are you sure you want to leave now?” he asked.
“I have done my mission, I am ready to leave,” she told him.
“But you haven’t said bye to any one yet,” he told her.
“You can do that for me,” she said and was just getting ready to get up.
‘Faith, don’t you at least want to say farewell to your partner,” he asked.
“I have already, thank you,” she said and left his office. She took another look at the place and exited. Just as she drove out from the lot, Chance enters the lot. He parks and was hoping that he would be seeing Faith.
Just as he was about to walk in, his boss came out. “Chance, if you don’t go now, you will loose her forever,” he said pushing him back.
“Boss what are you talking about?” Chance asked confused.
“Faith, Faith is leaving, follow her to the airport now,” he said.
“What?” Chance asked.
“Stop playing dumb and denying your feelings will you, I know you too well to know what kind of feelings you have,” his boss said.
“Look, Faith has transferred back to her previous job, if you don’t go and stop her you will never see her again,” he told her.

“why is she going back?” Chance asked. “Her case has been solve, her mission here is done, do you want to be done with it as well,” his boss replied. “But I don’t get it,” Chance said again. “Faith, is going back to her old academy meaning she will leave this place, and leaving you as well,” he said.
The thought of it hurts Chance’s heart, he wasn’t sure of what he wanted to do. But he quickly ran to his car and drove to the airport.
“At the Airport”
“Faith are you sure you don’t want to stay,” Lucky asked. She nods at him. Faith gave her little sister a hug and shook Lucky’s hand. “Take care of my little sister while I’m gone,” she told him. he saluted and said, “You know it.”
Both sisters laugh at his response. Lucky blushed.
“Alright, I’m going to get going, you two be good,” Faith said as she turned to walk away.
“That’s it!” someone yelled running towards her direction. Faith turns around to see Chance running towards her. Her eyes open wide and heart, she could feel it beating faster as he got closer to her.

"Wow, that dude really looks like Chance," Lucky laughs. 'Who's saying that?" Hope asked. "Thats it?" continuously was heard over and over again. "Oh, sorry thats my phone ringing, Chance's ringtone," Lucky said as he reached for his cell phone but it stopped ringing before he got it out.
"Are you going to call him back?" Hope asked.
"No, he probably wants to know if I sent Aum to the airport this morning," Lucky answered. "Who is she?" Hope asked. "Someone significant of Chance's," Lucky answered.
"Thanks for sending me off but I think I will get going now," Faith said as she grab her small belongings and walk towards the door. "Bye, and call me when you get there," Hope said giving her a last hug. "I will," she said and walks away. Both Lucky and Hope watched her plane fly slowly up to the sky until it was out of sight.
"WHy did you have to send Aum this morning?" Hope asked. "I didn't send her, Chance asked me to but I didnt," Lucky answered. "Lucky," someone called. Lucky turned around to see Chance standing there infront of Hope and him, breathing hard. "Are you alright?" Lucky asked.
"Where is she?" Chance asked.
"I didn't take Aum this morning," Lucky answered him. "I'm not talking about Aum, I am talking about Faith, where is she?" Chance asked trying to catch his breath. Lucky looks at Hope and back at Chance and pointed to the window. "WHat do you mean?" Chance asked. "Airplane fly away already," Lucky said jokingly.
"Stop joking will you?" Chance asked madly. "CHance why are you looking for her?" Hope asked. "There's a few things I like to talk to her," Chance answered slowly. "Just give her a call later," Hope said. "It is important, it is best if I talk to her in person," Chance said.

"Thanks for sending me off but I think I will get going now," Faith said as she grab her small belongings and walk towards the door. "Bye, and call me when you get there," Hope said giving her a last hug. "I will," she said and walks away. Both Lucky and Hope watched her plane fly slowly up to the sky until it was out of sight.

“Anyhow, who is Aum, Lucky has said that she is your girlfriend,” Hope asked. “She is my former girlfriend who I dated a few years ago, she came back to work things out but I am not interested,” Chance said and looks at Lucky. “How dare you say that she is my girl-friend.”
“Faith knows about you two,” lucky said laughing. “You need to shut your mouth sometimes, things aren’t true, don’t say it out loud,” Chance said he walks away. “Chance, just give my sister a call, I think she will be happy to hear from you,” Hope says. He turns around to look at her and gave her a smile before he walks away.
While driving back to work, thoughts were running this head, not sure if he wanted to follow Faith to Changmai. He arrived back to work and went straight to Faith’s old office and he sees hallucinations of her working hard on cases. A smile appears on his face as he sees her. Suddenly his boss creeps up behind him.
“Did you get to see her?” his boss asked.
Chance slowly answered him no and walks into her office and sat on her chair. “This isn’t your office Chance,” his boss told him. “Boss you’re right, you know me a lot better than I even know myself,” Chance answered. “Faith is a lot stronger than you are, I will admit,” his boss replied. “I agree,” chance finally admits.
“What are you going to do?” he asked. “What can I do, I think I lost her already,” chance said. “Faith is still a single lady with no ring her on her finger, she is still available to you,” his boss replied. “But its too late,” chance said. “If you truly loves her and determine, too late does not exist,” his boss replied.
Chance knows that his boss is right, she is not married therefore, he still has a chance but he wasn’t strong enough to confront her and express his feelings towards her. It has been so long since he has been able to love someone. His heart was beating fast as he sat there thinking about his plans. “I don’t get why are you talking to me about this boss?” chance asked.
“I am discussing about this to you is because I really don’t have a clue,” he said confused. “Maybe I’m just bored and wants to help out,” he said.
“I don’t know what to do,” Chance said. “Follow her,” his boss said. Chance thinks about it for a few seconds and quickly answered no. “If she feels the same way, she would have never left,” chance answered. “Weak sauce,” his boss said madly and left the office.
Chance continues to stay in her office and have thoughts run through his mind, as he begins to dig through her desk and sees a photo in the drawer. His heart then began to feel as if it was stabbed into pieces. It was a photo of Tik and her. Both had their arms around each other with big smiles. “So you already have someone no wonder you were such in a hurry to leave,” he thought.

It has been a month since Faith has left Bangkok; both continue their lives as if they have never known each other.
“Faith, what’s wrong,” he asked. She looks up and it was Tik, the one who had always stayed by her side, she loves him and cares for him but for some reason her heart was never able to accept to be someone that she can accept to be with for the rest of her life.
“There’s nothing, I just got off the phone with Hope and I am glad she is doing well,” Faith answered. “Are you doing well?” he asks her. “Well, of course I am always doing better than well,” she replied. He knows that something is definitely bothering, studying her expressions and trying to figure it out. “Faith, I have known you for more than 10 years, I think I know more about you than you think,: he said.
“No worries Tik, I am probably just tired,” she said.
“How bout go take a rest,” he asked. She nods her head and left the office followed by Tik. “I will drop you off,” he said.
“It is alright, I drove here so I can drive,” she said. With that she gave him a hug and left. Tik’s heart is so anxious about making things happen between them. The reason why he has turned down all his arranged marriages was because he wanted to be with her. He watches her drives away and waves bye again before she was out of sight.
“I’m sorry Tik but I just can’t,” she said to herself as a tear fell from her eye. When she reached home, she went to go lay in her bed staring at the ceiling and wondering how he is doing. Flashbacks of him and her arguing and remembering the time when he first had his arms around her when she was crying.
“We can never happen, it is too complicated,” she thought to herself and drifts to sleep.
In Bangkok, Chance was assigned with a new partner, who reminds him of Faith. He didn’t mind having her as a partner but he didn’t have the same feelings as he towards Faith. Sometimes he would wish that it was Faith.
As the three had lunch together, Hope, chance and lucky at their usual meet ups, “How are you?” hope asked. “I am doing great,” chance replied.
“Have you called my sister yet,” she asked. “No, I don’t see why I should,” he quickly said. “What do you mean?” she asked. “It is too complicated,” he answered.
“You’re denying your feelings aren’t you,” lucky said pointing at him. “Why would i?” chance asked. “ like I said, it is complicated,” chance repeated. “I think it is confidential, you two first became partners who worked together and look how you feel for her,” Lucky said. “You love her because you hated her remember, to compare it to how you fell for Aum, it is different,” lucky said.
“It’s not confidential,” chance said. “You two are but me and Faith, it is impossible,” chance said.

Spicy Forum, I am on break from school now, so I will further continue to write and finish my stories that I started off. Sorry for the incovenience!!! Will they be back on to the other file
